Tough game to call. Roma will either be completely demoralised or be ready to go like caged animals. I'm hoping it's the first one and we can rub more salt in the wounds but I'm nervous about later. If it was even 3-1 defeat I think I'd be more comfortable but off the back of that display they'll be playing for pride

was really excited about him after his first season. turned out to be mentally weak. injuries and constant switch of position didn't help either.

It’s not superstitious, he has likely been this excited for big matches like Inter, Arsenal last season, etc. and we’ve had a tendency in recent years to bottle it.

This match will tell us a lot about the squad.

That had to do with other factors and variables but not for the fact that one is excited for a match. I am always happy to watch milan play because i love this club, especially when they are playing good football (going in the right direction).

Every game can be a failure, there is no easy match in serie a. all matches should be taken seriously and played with 100% focus. If they can hold the form like vs napoli i have no doubts in my mind we will succeed.

I’m not saying there is causation; rather, a correlation between being extra excited for big matches + disappointment resulting from us bottling it in big matches.

Agree on the rest, we should be equally excited and focused for every match, but human nature makes us more excited for a match against Roma than it does for a match against Empoli.
