Pep is totally possible and even probable when we build the stadium and are sold to someone who wants to invest money.

I agree, but most of our players dont have guts. There's no leader on the team. And Suso WAS the most gifted player technically, before Leao joined. Paqueta is arguably better too.

Very true. I was referring to Hakan because he’s supposed to start today although he’s one of those I feel must be benched asap .

Milan's Curva Sud are expected to remain silent for the entire Milan-Lecce game tonight as a sign of protest against the club management [Gazzetta dello Sport]

Idiots.

Overmars might be true, but Pep is 100% false. He's not the kind of coach we need, especially regarding Elliot's policy.

Idiots.

I bet they won't be able to keep their silence once we get to win 3-0 tonight

There are far too many to name past & present
Why are you guys acting like Pochettino is shit?
ONE bad season where the team is mentally broken suddenly makes a guy who has kept fuckin Tottenham running with the big fish of Europe automagically shit? :fp:

I can't stand this myopia driven stupidity sometimes.
Ancelotti, Mourinho, even Capello had shit seasons when their stories were finished with the clubs that they left eventually. Hell even :max: had very few fans right before he left for Juve.

Fuck me

Poch is part of the reason why they are broken mentally.

Picked an unfit Kane over Lucas, who got Spurs to the CL final.
Done a Bielsa by running the players into the ground with over training.
Wont change tactics, even tho their run of form has been bad since January.
Players fed up with his mood swings.
Hasnt won a single goddamned thing.

Poch isnt shit, but is overrated. He isn't entirely to blame for Spurs situation, equal blame on the players and Gazidis Brother Daniel Levy for well.

Overmars just renewed his contract and expires in 2024

Pep expires in 2021...

Pochettino os a serious and very good coach that is great for projects. Stop speaking nonsence.

I have only one coaching wish for years and thats Klopp. Not Pep, I font really rate him and dont like him. Its just subjective. Wasting bilions and won what? Epl ok, cl zero... if he came to Milan Id be ok with it but hes not my choice.

On our poor Milan: Elliot has so much influence and money that in here its now the question of ego I believe. They will not lrt this go untill they do it their way. Will it be fast or slow (like it seems) we will see. But Milan will be sold for a lot of money. That part does not worry me, sporting part does. Starting with Gazidis who is not adequate for italian football (by wiews of calcio and hus absence from the media) then complete shit team of Mirabelli which is STILL PLAYING FFS!!! And Zvone&Paolo with no experience...

So dont speak of 10mln wage as problem, its not. Sporting-technical part is.

Klopp now is a coach that would seem to be perfect. Especially with that pure energy he’d bring. But let’s not forget that his successes at Liverpool also came with massive spendings.

klopp would be a option for every top club... he wasnt when he left bvb... so no need to talk about him and acm.
poche has tottenham performing like top team but when you look on overall roster they have good players here and there but nowhere as good as result club has.

Not really. Liverpool haven’t spent large sums of money. Their biggest transfer was Van Djik. Salah, Mane and Firmino cost all in the region of 30 million pounds and weren’t world beaters when they joined. In addition they all came over a couple of seasons not all in one season. It’s not like Liverpool spent large sums like Man U or Man City. Not even close. Klopp wasn’t even great in his first season, he build his team up slowly, still has players like Milner in the line up and Lovren in the line up, went to the final without Alisson. Building a team around a great coach was what Liverpool did. Despite losing Sterling and Suarez.

Liverpool were tame in terms of spending. Liverpool is what happens when you get a great coach and give him time which Milan fails to understand to this very day.

Liverpool does a lot of stuff outside coaching+scouting that puts them where they are

Lots invested in sports science + analytics

For example, they have a guy dedicated to doing throw-in analytics, not sure if any other club does that

What? VVD, Alisson, Keita, Fabinho, Salah, Mane, Chamberlain and Wijnaldum cost 400 m. 8 players for 400 m means 50 m average. How is that not spending large sums?

3pts 2day and its -5 to top 4. If we are to have ANY chance this year these need to be next results:
Lecce win, Roma x, Lazio x/win, Spal win. If we loose roma/Lazio games or spill points on lecce, spal callnit a day and play kids.

and it's unheard of for people to switch clubs while having contracts...

Nope. If data from transfermarkt is correct, they've only spent around 100mln net in his tenure.

By they way, what do you guys think of Shaqiri as a cheap Suso alternative? He's not getting playing time at Pool, but for us I think he would be good.

Don't start with this net spent, nonsense. Liverpool have spent money, spending 70m on not 1 but 2 players is spending big. Give zero fucks about but but but on the sheet it says this if you subtract xyz.

What Liverpool do right, is get a proper price for their players and reinvest it into the squad. They scout a player, target the player and if they cannot get them right away, they will wait and won't panic and buy a dodgy alternative. You know they operate like a big club is suppose to and remember football is also a business at the same time. So that's why they have a low net spend.

Allison, VVD, Salah and Mane is still 200m+ in signings.

Merda got away. What I can't deny is that Conte taught them how to move the ball and create. Every game they have like at least 5 good chances to score which was what they were creating for 3 games last season.
