Jose Sosa has accepted to join Trabzonspor. Agreement between the Turkish club and Milan is close [TMW].

Our squad depth is also questionable. Still dont understand why we sold Kucka. Would have been a decent backup and its not like we got much for him anyways.

I am not gonna rate the mercato a 10 just because we have bought a lot of players. It will be a 10 when we get that LW and CM. At the moment its 9/10 for me

This is a 10/10 mercato simply because we have 9 starters & they are performing good.
Only purchase I dont get is Andre Silva considering he is a SS when we are mostly playing with 1 ST & our best player & only starter from last season is a right flanker.
We were going for a left flanker so 433 was supposed to be our go formation.
But Andre probably was a bargain and then there was Bonucci... another bargain that was unplanned.

With Suso and no left winger , we can have kind of an asymmetric formation.
A right winger from the right and an attacking midfielder or wingback from the left.

More and more reports are coming up that Sosa is willing to go back to Turkey..Fenerbahce representatives will be in Milano later today to discuss Sosa and Gomez

Kevin-Prince Boateng, Keisuke Honda, Gerard Deulofeu, Jeremy Menez? Not really underwhelming compared to those guys.

This season is all about cementing a top 4 position to secure CL football.

No doubt in my mind that we will go big in next mercato.

We bought 9 starters and overhauled the team completely. Never forget where we are coming from...

I agree, LW would be nice but i am not gonna sit here and whine and underrate this mercato.

Ungrateful pricks can go finger themselves!

One thing I am proud of though is that out of the top teams in the 4 leagues that played in round 1, only three teams starting eleven boasted 6 or more "National" players and we are one of them. The other two are Bayern and Atletico Madrid.

We had Cutrone, Borini, Locatelli, Donnarumma, Bonucci and Conti all starting for us.

In comparision:

Juve had 4 - Buffon, Chiellini, Marchisio, Rugani
Inter had 2 - Candreva, D'Ambrosio
Fiorentina had 3 - Astori, Sportiello, Benassi
Roma had 1 - De Rossi
Lazio had 3 - Parolo, Colombi, Immobile
Napoli had 1 - Insigne

If we play Biglia in the middle as a double pivot with Kessie, i'd rather have players much closer to him to cover the space, so instead of a 343 with wide players cutting in it would be a 3421 or 3412 at least. Calhanoglu would do well as a trequartista covering back to help Biglia, with a front two.
