Romania was actually pretty good. Raducioiu played for Milan, and you can't forget Popescu, Petrescu, and some others. Romania was a really good team in the 90's. And Salah comes from Egypt, which is statistically the best team in Africa, their national and club teams dominate football in Africa, overwhelmingly. I'd say Egypt is a much stronger team than Poland.

Reminds me of Italians referring to Germans as 'tedesco'. Which is an evolution of Theodiscus, which interestingly is also the root word for Deutsch.

uhh...not in national team. In Poland common opinion is he cant handle pressure. When Poles think about good polish players nowdays its like ofc Lewandowski, Glik, Szczęsny...and after that Zileiński or Milik. Some ppl rate Grosicki (in reality very avarage, one demintional winger) over Zieliński, so it may give u some idea of dometic level of - lets call it - reputation.

I am not convinced by this operation. Instead Piatek, with 40 m we would have take a strong winger and Higuain replace with Batshuayi. Hope im wrong.

Well both Zielinski and Milik have been revitalized under Ancelotti. The current Polish talent in club football is anything but mediocre.
