So, with our run of form from the Juventus(or 3 games before it) onwards, Miha definitely deserved to stay?
It would only be fair to give him until seasons end and then make a call. Up until now, I'd say he has done reasonably well with Milan however ask yourself these questions:
a) is Miha inexperienced?
he's had 5 experiences before this, including in Serie A.. So no, the argument of him being too inexperienced doesn't work.
b) Prior to joining, is this the best squad Miha has ever managed?
arguably yes, at least one of his top 3 squads. So the argument of him having a relatively weak team doesn't work either because he's had enough experiences to know how to manage such quality in squads.
C) is this the biggest budget Miha has been given?
yes. when u consider that on top of the fact that he already had a pretty decent squad, he gets handed the biggest mercato budget in his coaching career to further tweak the squad yet these are the final results.
d) did Miha fail to accomplish the objective of third place that Berlusconi had asked for?
..race isn't over but chances are pretty dim seeing how the teams above us are going. we keep messing up the opportunities and miha isn't fixing it. coaching isn't only about motivating the players and getting the best out of them... the tactical aspect plays a vital role too. We currently seem to be stuck to playing the same formation each game despite us winning only 1 in 5.
