I thought our fans learned their lesson from his first time here, but apparently that's not the case.

What prima donna attitude? Missing a PK? De Bruyne missed a PK today as well in a far more important game, since when missing a PK means being a prima donna?

 yeah, missing a PK obviously :fp:

Ok then tell me what is the prima donna behavior you're talking about, explain it.

Probably when he complains and shouts at his teammates, while the ball is still in play, even when he's the one at fault.
Or when he drops deep, ordering the rest of the team to push up, because he's bored and wants to attempt risky Pirlo-esque through-balls, which usually lead to counter-attacks for the opponents and he just stands there watching it happen.
Or that he's taking all the PKs and FKs even though there are actual specialists in the team.

But the missed PK aside, this is not the game to blame on Ibra.
Verona are hard to break down when they're protecting a result.
His targetman game was crucial. I don't think we would've created as many chances if he had been replaced at HT.

Are we going to buy Silvestri? Lets dive Donarumma a contract extension with his 7.5M and sell him next summer.

yes, get him. he is good on penalties too. Our snake is not good on penalties. he learned distribution under Gattuso but we got burned so bad.

negative aside, we played with intensity since we down to 2-0, i actually like that, Verona's defense was pretty organized for mid table team, so when we finally managed to make it 2-2, it was great sign tbh

against Napoli we need that kind intensity and urgency for the start, in term of Individual quality they're better than us, but if we have intensity like we were showed yesterday, we might have a chance to beat them... believe

Im hopeful we could get 4 pts vs napoli and lille but theres a good chance we lose both. Then we have fiorientina at home- that will be the match which shows whether we are a top 4 team or not.

Of course I want us to win every match but Im also excited to see how we react to adversity.

We have seen atalanta do it after losing 5-0 to liverpool and being 1-0 down to inter (should have won it).

Why would the match vs Fiora show us if we're top4 material? They stink, id be surprised if they score a goal honestly

It surprises me how bitter some of you are. The result should have been a clear win but we still showed we are legit.

Ibra missed the PK but his goal was also a goal no one else can score. The only thing to blame is the goals we conceded and very bad luck, Ibra hit the post if that had gone in we would win.

I'm bitter because we didn't fucking win. I'm still angry, same as after the Roma game. It's great that we're in this position where we're not satisfied with a point, but still doesn't change the fact that we're still angry and bitter.

This is what being a winner should feel like, never happy unless you win.

but for the first time in a whiiiiiile, i was calm even when we were 2:0 cause I knew we would bounce back and score a few..something that was rare in the past few years...even the mentality of the players has improved a looot, we're making such a great team :proud:

I was expecting a win the whole game. Even when we missed the penalty I was expecting two more goals. We were that dangerous and confident.

Still angry.

Our performance in the last 2 games is worrying.

I am really not liking this 4-2-3-1 setup. Too much emphasis on Ibra.
We are weak defensively. And we are betting on Leao and Saels to create our chances.

should be 'easy' 3 points but players expect easy win when not really many games since post covid were really nice and easy for us (people remember results not playing style).

people who are trying to make excuses now are probably same people who were saying like losing versus lille in el was good waking up thing.

this game is big FAIL in context of napoli-lille-fio were now we need to get some good results.

Unless Fiorentina fire their Serie B coach before our game, I fancy our chances to beat them.

Their team in terms of quality is as good if not better than Sassuolo. Only thing is Sassuolo has a legit coach while Fiorentina have a Serie C quality coach as their coach.

Hopefully they dont let him go until we play them

Ibra won us 3 points last week. If you play with Ibra, you have to accept his irritability and fallibility as well. I see a Ibra who recognizes his limits at his age and who kills himself for this team. He is not our biggest problem.

I am instead worried about Theo. He has struggled this season, and we need him to be much better. Not sharp enough yet.

On Theo, I noticed he looked much better both last week and now when Rebic entered. They had great chemistry last season and I think he misses that link with Leao. Not to take anything from Leao himself but the link-up play and drive they have on the right can't be understated.

Its crazy how they always have some excuses. As if we havent been in this position countless times the last 8 years.

I agree. Leao has good physical and technical attributes but he?s naive tactically . He?s still a kid in that sense. Will try something risky in our own half , will randomly decide to take on everyone etc. needs to mature . Rebic is experienced and used Theo really well.

Personally iv never been a fan of Leao and while it seems like he has a lot of potential , I think his general low football IQ and lack of seriousness means he won?t succeed on the left at Milan. He could become a really good striker though if coached well.

Whole game felt horrible, painful even.

Looking back at it now, it was not bad. Insanely ineffective/unlucky with chances, insanely effective/lucky opponent goalkeeping, unlucky with ref decisions, and Ibra sent a penalty to Mars. All of this is things that happen, but rarely, and very rarely all at the same time. Now add an unlucky start to the game, so the description above started from 0-2.

And 1 point. Again, its not even bad. Trying to be objective its hard to give the performance less than 3/5.

I wouldn't even say it's low football IQ for Leao. He just tries to express himself and as he's still young, makes the wrong choice a lot with a flashy play. My concern is his workrate, which is improving thankfully, but he needs to play that way for his full shift on the pitch. I'd rather see him 60 mins at full drive than 90 mins not. We can rotate whether he starts or comes off the bench to get the most out of him.
