"He has not yet officially greeted us, but he deserves this leap in quality, but we lose a very good boy and he has made a lot of goals for us" - Daniel Bessa, Genoa midfielder

Atm, I'd much rather milan sign van aanholt over a midfielder, RR is a liability.

He has been horrible lately, he started the season well. I think he’s the first one we need to replace in the summer or at the very least sign someone who is going to push him to play better. Laxalt was supposed to be that be he is pure fodder.

Salah is a choker, does not matter where you pick him up from...

He’s speed merchant, nothing more.

Massaro in disguise

pva would easily be the 3rd best LB in serie A

now ofc, if they demand their regular PL prices for him, hard pass.

point is, we need a pacey LB who can attack well and be competent in defending.

RR is a little mystery, with the Swiss national team he is a beast on steroid while with us he’s very limited and can’t overlap or attack spaces when they are open.

We gave RR a lot of leeway but he really seems to have a problem in this league, last summer there were some rumors that Bayern and PSG are willing to table a big offer for him, those clubs aren’t known to buy mediocre players as we all see week in and week out.

Conti defending is amateurish at best but all is forgotten the moment he delivers one of his delicious assists.

Yeah we need someone better at both ends.

RR would have a problem in any league, he's simply too slow.

RR will work for Ancelotti. Ancelotti is the only one manages to field 4 cbs as a defensive line and still works.

According to Gazetta, Genoa does not want Halilovic and prefer Plizarri instead who is highly valued by Leonardo. Plizarri will only join Genoa if he has a cheap buy-back option and guaranteed on being the starting goalkeeper.

Hakan has the most shots on goal in the top 5 Europeans, without a goal. That is pretty obvious.

Damn, that would be a great deal for Milan and what an opportunity for Plizarri. If Leonardo values him, the plan may be to sell Donnarumma in a season or two when his value is likely near world record GK numbers, replace him with Plizarri, and re-invest in the squad. That’s how you FFP

Leonardo appears to have struck gold twice with Bakayoko and Paqueta... I’m pretty excited to see Piatek now.

I know Rodriguez has struggled, but if you watch the Genoa match, he makes two enormous defensive plays around the 50th minute. First, is after Paqueta rainbow flicks and turns the ball over, the second he is basically the last defender and he makes a great tackle.

He is generally very solid in defense, IMO.

Rodriguez is very solid in defense, I agree. But he's really really bad in offense. It's not tough to find a defensively good fullback in Serie A - almost every team has one. The offensive part is how big teams differentiate themselves.
