Unless there are some clauses in the deal between Li and Elliot, Elliot can't do anything. If Milan defaults and can't pay their bills, gets put under administration, etc....all Elliot can do is and wait. For examole, the club gets auctioned off and Elliot gets paid that way as creditors always get paid first. Clearly, Elliot doesn't want it to come to this and they'll take measures....but it's premature to talk what it'll be.

I don't think anyone can confidently say this without reading the agreement between Elliot and Li. Based purely on what Elliot have done in the past, I wouldn't be surprised if the agreement is infested with clauses that protect them and allow for early defaults for the slightest error on Li's part. They were in an extremely strong negotiating position at the time.
