Tbh, both teams are shit.
Messi is the best player on the pitch, but the Dutch have been superior over the whole tournament.
Messi is the only thing evening the odds.
Could go either way but I predict a Dutch final.

Argentina would have been the favorites before the WC started. But right now it is clearly Holland. Argentina = messi. Without him they are average at best. Especially as a team

I have no idea how people were calling Argentina anything close to favourites.
They have Messi and Di Maria but otherwise their team isn't good enough.
That they got to the semis and could win it is a travesty.

I was one of those who thought they could reach far in the tournament before it started. I watched a lot of their friendly/qualifying games and they were quite impressive, other than their defence and GK. But since the first match against Bosnia, the players were no where to be seen. Messi stepped up second half.. And from there it was clear that Argentina are nothing without messi. Di Maria was ok, but still far from his form with real Madrid this season. Aguero underperformed big time also higuain, even though he kinda stepped up against Belgium.
Imo only messi can save them form the Netherlands.
Hmmm sounds exactly like the long haired, crosseyed roman midfielder we all know very well.
