^ Yes, only one to back against Inter. There were three that correctly predicted Milan's 1-1 result though.

A difficult round of games last week, top score was only 7, by both necromancer and Mozack.

Ulla, why dont you start a knockout cup contest with the top 12 from week 36?

W36: Rank 1 vs Rank 12, Rank 2 vs Rank 11 etc etc..
W37: Similarly for the 6 winners of prev round
W38: For the 3 winners of prev round. Highest scorer wins cup.

It's a little crude because of the limited number of participants. Or maybe we could throw it open to all and start from week xx depending on the number of entrants?

Coppa Italia SF 1st Leg results are up, unsurprisingly everyone correctly picked both of the winners (2 points), only Fusiproe12 and acm55 ended up with 3 points by predicting a margin correctly.

Ok, bear with me, this is going to be a long post....

necro's idea of a SAPL Champions League is happening, and it starts this weekend! We have 14 players, the 12 regulars and milanist who just started and Berlusconi who I noticed has just posted in the CL/EL round (welcome).

I have split the 14 into 2 groups of 7, for rounds 27 to 33 inclusive we will play a round robin, then the top 4 from each group will go to the knockout rounds, Wk34 & Wk35 is QF, Wk36 & Wk37 is SF, and Wk38 is the final.

Scores based on results of each week's predictions, W-D-L, 3-1-0 points, tiebreaker in the group stage is Head to Head result, then For and Against.
The Knockout stage will be "Away Goals" rule, an exact tie will go to the player higher up the overall ladder.

A win in the CL will gain an extra 2 points to your score in the overall ladder, a draw will get 1 point.

The points you score (your predictions) are your goals for each match. In the knockout ties if you both win one match each (or 2 draws) and are tied on total goals (predictions) for both matches then the person who got the most goals (predictions) in their "away" leg is the winner.
