Godin and Gimenez will score a hattrick each vs the Saudi midgets

Great 2nd half, nice contrast from yesterday, football is awesome

pretty boring game

given their players' individual value Uruguay played like shit. Egypt worked hard, they probably deserved a draw

Cavani doesn't score much in the World Cup does he?
Actually, he rarely scores in high profile games imho.
Part of the reason I don't like him

I want everyone to root for Iran in this game.

I haven't watched Iran play since the last time they played a WC.

I like this kid amine harit. He got that right amount of explosiveness.

Edit he is just 1 year older than mastour and already starting for schalke

Nike refused to give Iran players shoes because of sanctions, I'm blaming this bad start on players not being used to their new shoes :o:o

Not really.

Even when they were the better of the two sides, they did not threaten Uruguay.

And other than the goal, Uruguay has lot more chances.

He actually came close to scoring twice today: one amazing save other hit the cross bar

Iran starting to get settled. Morocco might regret that early burst of missed chances

That's what I meant.

What are they saying?

Apparently Morocco and Iran ended relations with each other?

I don’t speak Arabic or really understand the rivalry, just what my friend told me

Or if you are asking about Fox, there’s a really really dumb lady

I feel so bad for the Iranian players... no other country in the world have such distance between regime and people. Cunts are sitting there judging these players because they're from Iran. As much as I loath Saudi Arabia, I would never ever judge the people and hate on them for what their leaders do.

Talking about KSA, now that we see Iran who's almost equally amateurish, you can see that Iran have some football culture and heart compared to them.

who's hating on them for being from iran?

I'm watching the game and never for once thought that Iran are amateurish, they're a well organized team. Morrocco have some legit talent, 95% of their team are starters in europe.

amateurs already got rekt 5-0 last night.

Iran playing a lot better than Saudi Arabia, even though they are also giving ball away quite cheaply at times

Curupira mentioned something, and I can imagine people in general just because how media reports on Iran. Amateurish maybe is a strong word, but they've had some brain farts and there's not much talent there.

True about Morrocco, I'm impressed. Let's see how they do vs Spain and Portugal.
