I don't like series filled with cliché elements and originality gives me ass itch.

So I just read about magic vampire chicks who learnt me the word ecchi.

This is exactly what im talking about. You just assume its shitty because it shares one or two elements from an anime. You dont even watch 5 minutes of it before coming up with that conclusion. You dont even know how many gems you miss because of this.

I watched 3 episodes of that show, you derp. Get off my case, breh. I never only watch 5 minutes of a show, nor even just 1 episode. I watch an hour and a half of it and if it hasn't hooked me, then it can rest. Simple as that. Even if it, say, has a badass ending, why slog through 20ish episodes to get there? :head:

If Ghost Hound doesn't hook me soon, for instance, I'll drop it, probably. It's my first show since Hellsing a few months ago, so if it's not wowing me now, then...

Might do Fam the Silverwing sometime if GH fails.

It's a good trend then. You'll realize this soon enough- nowadays if I want guilty-pleasure, I might as well go for a whisky rather than "forcing" through a series I don't enjoy that much.

I think the worst anime I've ever seen from start to end was dragonaut. Never again. And the only reason to why I ever finished Fate Stay Night was because of HEAVY SPOILER...okay:

. Even though that part delivered as I expected, I definitely wouldn't recommend the anime because of main char....

Expecting something to blow your fucking mind in originality when it comes to anime is gonna leave you disappointed for years to come. You know how many anime come out PER SEASON? Like 20-30. It can well add up to 100+ a year. You expect a majority of them to gold? No, the more that come out the tighter the sphere of creativity constricts.

the sphere doesn't constrict. it just gets more and more filled up with "like" ideas appearing over and over.

we need the sphere to expand.

we need new ideas!

we need a new mangaka that will revolutionize the world of manga and anime!

you also misunderstand. I dont mean force yourself through a terrible anime, im merely saying 1. dont be extra picky when it comes to picking anime based on synopsis, however a shit anime is a shit anime. But atleast give it 5 min instead of blaming it for not beeing creative enough.

Terra from FF6 is stronger than Squall. Half summon/half human but out of all the RPGS I have played I have yet to see any character that are stronger than Ryu from Breath of Fire and Yuri "Godslayer" Hyuga from Shadow Hearts :proud:
