I just love all these movies. If I were to choose, then Pulp Fiction would be the one, cause it's more complete and smart than the others.

If not mistaken, as a teenager Danny Sugerman used to hang around in the studio where the Doors were recording and eventually got friendly with them even after Jim's dead. He then went on to become sort of like official spokesman for the Doors. Have u read it? Very good book.

I'll look for it, but it's very hard to find a book like that here

I like that movie a lot, but only gave it a 9. It comes close to these 5 though. Let's say at #6.

donnie brasco is a film about fbi agent(johnny depp) who got the biggest(of fbi agents) position in the mob. a lot of that thanks to al pacino*s character(was the name rusty?) very good film? forgetaboutit

Pacinos name was Lefty (aka: left Hand). Crazy movie...at one point, Donnie (Johnny Depp) has to chop up some bodies that his mafia buddies just killed. Its brutal.

I believe Donnie Brasco single handedly resurrected Johny Depp's movie career. Before this, he was basically just a former teen heart-throb from 21 Jump Street, known for the "Winona forever" tatoo. He then went on to make Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and his career took off even to greater fame.

I can't help but feeling sorry for Lefty's fate at the end of the movie, though. When he got the call, he knew he was gonna get whacked. He took off his ring, his necklace, watch and all his valuable items before going to the place where he knew he was gonna get killed.

BTW, this is I guess the only movie where Al Pacino is portrayed as so powerless and not in control or dominant.

Belive me I saw almost all these Movies except monster in law since it is
Romantic movie and to me Romantic movies are so boring

Nah, in the "Merchant of Venice" he's more powerless. I felt sorry for him there also.

It's due to scenario demand. I give actors/actresses' credit whom play the coloured role on their films. No need feel sorry for it.

Devil's advocate is another typical Al Pacino performance: lots of screaming. I really like the whole Devil concept (Stigmata, End of Days). And you got to see a very young Charlize Theron in full frontal nudity

Yeah, that's just a GREAT movie. Just think about it: Keanu Reeves (great young actor, at the time), Charlize Theron (she's so beautiful, and in this movie she starts with blonde curly long hair, then she's brunette with a shorter hair, and then blonde again! Damn!) and Al Pacino (IMO he and R.de Niro are the best actors of our time, I can't make up my mind which is better, but in monologues I'm sure Al Pacino is better).

I've seen it many times. It's Quentin Tarantino's, that's why. Whenever I get the Tarantino fever I have to see his movies. I saw True Romance and Pulp Fiction for more then 50 times each. I can't stop man, I'm addicted.
