Another great goal from the blond Samurai. Saw this match and he was really good, one thing that impressed me was his determination to fight in the midfield, i think something hes adding to him game and did well whenever he went forward and took his goal nicely. If he moves to a bigger club, he will explode...

Arsenal and Wolfsburg want him at the moment but its still premature.

He would actually be the perfect Sahin replacement at Dortmund.

Should be interesting to see where he lands up, i just hope its a CL team.

Well, i agree but they are paying Diego approx 9m a season, its a lot of money for a footballer in Germany. If Honda goes to a non CL team it would be for only two reasons,

1) He is getting paid shitloads.

2) He wasnt offered a better choice.

In what position he plays at CSKA?

I only saw him as a lone forward in WC for Japan...

He plays CM in a 4.4.2

As Sage mentioned he can play anywhere in attack and midfield bar DM of course but his defensive work is getting better.

In the WC they had some issues with their strike force and thats why he played there, nowadays he can play a deeper role for Japan with the new talent coming up.

He is complete quality player just needs a bigger club than CSKA to showcase his talents at the highest level.
