this is an english speaking forum........ but for those of you who cant read it:

lazio is looking for a central defender and they like the romanian radoi of Steaua Bucarest

anyway, why do we care who lazio is looking for??? this post makes no sense.

Because as I remember we need a central defender. And Radoi is at least as good as Chivu. Plus, Radoi can play as a defensive midfielder too. Has a lot of intertational experience and it's not at all expensive.

Additions to the usual suspects ... Nesta, Kaladze, Oddo, Janku, Pirlo, Gattuso, Kaka', Gila, Gourcuff, etc. In three-four years time, a bulk of these players will be thinking of calling it quits, so my ideal dream is to bring those aforementioned players in by then ... priority going to wingbacks + strikers, wingers (if we change our system, which I think we should), central defenders and midfielders, in that order ;)

Actually, I think Radoi played better as a defensive midfielder. He's pretty good as a central defender but, admittedly, there will be better options on the market when it opens. True, he could come cheap ... but I think we've seen enough miserly spending recently. He's good but not the best ... though would certainly be better than Ambro, Billy, etc.

Edit: Top things off, he won't be filling up a non-EU space ;)

Maybe I'm just beeing subjectiv because he plays for Steaua but I think he's one of the best DM in Europe right now. And the rest of this season will show this.

how 'bout Rio Ferdinand,?
he's really good, but i don't think manutd will sell him.

his brother can be da same too if he goes to a big club, nobody pays attention to him.

NO, he's a big lipped loser who got schooled by JVOH for Celtic and Holland.
Overrated, i've seen too much of Rio, he was good, till he got banned for drugs. Had his best days at Leeds, amazing performances in the 2002 WC.

I think we should invest in alves and ribery. Although expensive, i think they'll fit into our team. Gareth Bale is also an interesting prospect, but is way too expensive, as are all UK players. I can imagine ribery flying down the left flank, and gourcuff flying down the right :D

with Ancelotti as a coach there si no space for Ribery, i mean where he would play in a 4 3 1 2 system :conf:

I'm now thinking of Almiron as a very possible and great signing... He is leading Empoli and he is clearly a great player.

^^ From the one Pana game I watched this season (the recent 3-1 defeat at Lens) I thought Pana looked less dangerous after Ninis came in. Their Scandinavian-named left winger/midfielder looked more dangerous with good passes, control, runs and movement off the ball + a midfielder (Bovia or Bolia, I think) tried to to run the game. Pana played pretty well until Ninis came in and wasn't really productive. Game was killed after Pana gave away an easy penalty. This, though, was only after watching one game so can be harldy conclusive.

Ribery will end up like all recent Madrid signings. He's always looked like a lad to me. Malouda's the better French winger by a mile.

so you are expectin' a 16 year old kid to always be performin'? especially on the European stage? from what he has done in the Greek league... he has been very good... and the way he destroyed AEK Athens was simply brilliant...

^^ Dude, didn't know he was 16 (didn't look at his stats clearly ;) ). And I did say it was only after watching one game. My bad ...

But isn't Walcott 17 or 18?

Just saw some of his plays ... not taking anything away from him.

Do you know the left midfielder's name? Can't remember it ...

Ivanschitz Andreas
Birth Date Birth Place
1983-10-15 Eisenstadt
Height Weight
1.83 m 79 Kg
Position National
Midfielder Austria

His performance reminded me of Perotta during the WC. Thought Pana played well + deserved a draw against Lens. Jemma's strike, a GK error + a defender's amature-ish tackle in the box cost them.

I think he is talking about Andreas Ivanschitz, cause Gonzalez has been injured for the whole season. Regarding Ninis, i've watched him in most of the games and for a 16 year old he is bloody good. He broke into the first team around 5-6 weeks ago and he hasn't taken a step back since. He has been playing brilliantly and as a result, one of the club's star players, Victor(ex Real Madrid and Deportivo) has been relegated to the bench ever since :)Against AEK he was admittedly brilliant and both he and Ivanschitz lead Pana to a 4-1 victory.
The guy is obviously very promising and very young, but let's just see how he develops.

Zz-Zz, how did you find out about him?UEFA's website?

We need to find an heir to Dida, not a replacement. Persoanlly I think we should keep in eye on Antonio_Mirante. The young kid is learning from one of the best GK's in the world (Gigi Buffon). Although I don't think Juve is stupid enough to lose him (though I wouldn't discount it from those 'tards:tongue: ).

The SOB could pass off for Zach Braff:tongue:

Is the guy on the left Wil Wheaton with a VERY bad sunburn?

Seriously, we're better off with a goalie with a track record. I think Mirante's too unknown for the management to take a flyer on him.

Just wait until 2014 when he's helping the Azzurri lift their 6th world cup title:D .
