Why you hit your ugly face? :)

And I think Emanuelson may play if Rino and Flamini are out(they are, so bleh)

We may try Emanuelson LCM, Prince RCM and Seedorf AM so Seedorf(Slowest and most potent) is furthest forward and the other 2 can be headless chickens and close down everyone, with MVBs help ofcourse.

Am I right in thinking that this'll be our first game of the official season(bar Coppa) if the strike goes ahead?

I dont want you to fall in love with my beatifull, young face. ;)

No, good one, Kuja. :)

Should be interesting to see how Ibra deals with them, could go either way.

Indeed.

But I do think we have a chance. Barca don't usually hit top gear til about Christmas, if we smash and grab now, we could pave the way to winning the psychological battle if we play them again.

And our defensive tactics are pretty much perfect for going against Barca.

We have a chance, atleast.

Oh and also, a lot of people are saying that we're dark horses behind Madrid, Man Utd and Barca.

Taiwo injured, so Antonini or Zambrotta vs Messi :D I think Allegri will have to go ultra-defensive in the first game, he has to... 4-5-1 with 5 thugs in the middle? :D

He doesn't have to, and shouldn't. I'd play Pato and Ibra upfront, don't sit back and let them eventually break you down. Barca aren't unbeatable.

use a midfield of prince, aquilani, seedorf, mvb.

Bring in clarence on drugs (aka once he hears ucl music) .

The 4 man CM set up is actually best bet to counteract them cause milan would be one team not going straight up or down a man in central part of pitch.

Doesn't change fact they r superior in that sector but it can close space and keep it more difficult.

They aren't unbeatable, but they're harder to beat than anyone else :) I think that, and especially with TT injured, you should be more than happy with a draw at Camp Nou, and you should play for it. Then, when TT's back (and Mexes, right?), and after your new players had some playing time with the rest of the team, try to win at San Siro.

It's not like Mexes is gonna play, and Zambrotta is arguably as defensively sound as Taiwo... only thing TT has is pace, which is useful in this situation, admittedly.

I forgot about him, but I do think Urby would be more helpful in the defensive phase and helping if we're counterattacking than Aquilani.

Still, he'll probably play.

We realy realy need Pippo in this game, he just enjoy to score against spanish club. However we are preaty close to them and if silva and nesta play good than everything is possible. I'm happy that we missed man city..

Omg, did you guys realise this?
If we're not playing Cagliari this weekend due to the strike, 11 september will be our first official game of the season against Lazio, and just 2 days later, we'd meet Barca....
That's some tough shit...

Happy now? And please mature soon enough.

Hardly, he's like 13 or 16 if I don't recall. First it was the Ganso, Coentrao, Sakho fetish. Now it's Kingsley-Shawaary fetish

Looking for younger prey?

I feel so confident about this one. Fabregas will be in tears begging B to buy him.
