A 70s mobster movie directed by Martin Scorsese, acted by Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci,... Chances of getting disappointed are almost zero

idk, Vinyl's premier was good but overall I get why it was cancelled. Bobby was ace tho. Hopefully there's a role for him too.

Was looking forward to watching American Made

Uber shite :fp:

One of the worst movies you're likely to watch this decade.

Is IT worth watching in the cinema? I'm piss poor this month and I don't want to waste my money on stupid shit.

If it is any good it'll most likely still be in theaters next month if that helps you in any way. It did get really good reviews so you can probably bank on that.

Finally watched Princess Bride and while at first I was turned off by it's theatrics started to enjoy it more and more as time went by. Nice comedy with all sort of shenanigans. Patinkin's Inigo was a template on which Martin wrote Oberyn and he is indeed as captivating.

Andre the Giant handsize  #handforce

watched blade runner 2049, left confused and felt there was too much talking/doing nothing and not enough action

6/10 and I feel like I'm being generous.

Finally watched the new Blade Runner. I was actually really surprised with how good it was.
More so than a sequel, it tries to be it's own entity, which at times I like and at times I kind of wish it'd go back to the moody atmospheric cyberpunk shit in the first one, but it's not that kind of movie I guess.
It's a shame it tanked, because I'm sure it'll be one of those movies where people will look back on it and realise how much went over their heads. There are a lot of subtleties that can be easily missed.
If you liked the first one you kind of owe it to yourself to see 2049. Don't expect it to be the exact same movie though. If you do, I think you might end up disappointed.

watched star wars the last jedi

rey is a shit protagonist, kylo ren is an equally shit antagonist

its still going to make shit loads of money, but this star wars reboot has been very underwhelming IMO.

Very disappointed with The Last Jedi, the series is becoming more and more generic Hollywood blockbuster style.
