Musacchio has more quality, especially with the ball on his feet.

Zapata is faster, taller and stronger.

Every new manager picks Zapata ahead of others, until he inevitable fucks up several times then gets dropped.

It's literally the same story with every manager the last 5 years.

He should have been out of the club within a year.

He's probably very good in training.

Very good cameo by Musakio. Hope he find more time for him and he stays. We should play him at full back position ahead of Borini (who can be an impact sub), if all others are injured.

Good game Mustacchio. I wonder why Rino never tried him at RB, especially now that we have 3 rb injured. He surely got some technique for the position, but somehow Rino tried Zapata before him. /confused

very comfortable with the ball, good passes, crosses, could be train to a nice back up RB, he cant be slower than RR, a decent back up CD as well, so its very nice bench option with versatility :star:

He's actually slower than RR. Thank God he's a centre back

He probably wanted to partner Bonucci with someone who is very strong in the air.

In general having two very different reserve CBs isn´t a bad thing, Zapata has his qualities, as long as he isn´t a regular starter I learned to value him

he was good against chievo when he came in but I think the reason that rino does not pick him as a starter at rb is because he will be a defensive rb.
I mean yes he looked great for 10 minutes against chievo to start counters but do you think that he would do that for 90 minutes if he was a starter?
I doubt that and I think this is what rino thinks as well.
at least for matches with opponents like chievo we need to have more offensive rb who will be able to attack regularly and contribute at the final third.
for derbies (eg. juve) if the situation remains as it is then I think it would be a good idea to start him over borini

all in all looked stable in the regular formation, but was dodgy when we changed to a 3 man backline, like every time we did it before gattuso

He was actually very solid against Sassuolo when he came on, hopefully he can follow it up with a good performance against the best attacking team in Italy

I can see him doing so good, that we'll have to sell BonBon or Romacerbi
