The fact they spent all preseason working on a 4-3-1-2, then go out and look terrible, then switch formations after 1 game to a 4-3-3 shows that everyone at the club is currently clueless from Maldini/Boban/Massara to Giampaolo to the shitty players.

True... it's like developing a new product for months then fail at the first test and give it up just like that

This team needs a top CAM and SS and will look completely different.

nice signing by Fiorentina for De Paul for 25m. That's the going rate at least for someone not terrible.

Fiore might be a threat this season. Specially if we don't get into gear and a see a few new signings this week.

Montella did, he would do anything for Suso, build the game around him, make him leader, sacrifice other players in attack who were with him, anything that would suit Sushi football.

Nothing is surprising.

Its just bluffing.

it's stupid. I hope he benches Sushi.

Take a read below from the man who had won something in his life.

Cappelo is spot on, but he is not saying anything that hasn’t been said in this forum. We all knew suso isn’t a TQ.. thats why we all expected him to be sold.

As long as #7, #10, #11 are assigned to the current players the curse of vergogna will remain

I've realized the negative people on RnB aren't actually the worst Milan fans to listen to. The Twitter rabble of "Milan fans" (or so they think they are) are a far worse and vile breed.

my guess is if he comes it may be on a free transfer next summer.

That would be stupid.

Why would they sign a 35 year old outfield player

We still have some hope - Lucci is still a call away and Roma needs some protein to replace Perotti.

Yeah, sound totally logic to replace LW with RW. :o

Btw, Giampaolo words about Suzu were weird. He's praising him whole summer and suddenly, after one game, he said that he can't play TQ.

Strategy to sell him?

Whatever it was, it didn't work out. :o

If this is how they are going to operate, then it's going to be a circus of a season. Instead of getting the players that actually fit a system, they are just trying to change a formation to accommodate some players that shouldn't even be central to the project. They still looked like garbage in a 4-3-3 last season as well.

It is unwise to shift the blame to the management for the lack of a AM when he himself think highly of Suso and wanted him to play in the position.

The players that Milan purchased this summer has reinforced our team regardless of whether we playing 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2.

All we need to do now is buy a player who can excel in playing as a AM, SS or a LW. Hopefully someone like Everton

And you honestly

You HONESTLY believe those two will come to Milan in a week

Guys. Buckle up. One signing... maybe

This is it. This season isn’t going to be saved by 2-3 last minute signings

Not impossible. I’m sure they weren’t working only on Correa for all this time.

He didn't criticise him, he said something like "he is an extraordinary player but probably not for 4-3-1-2 and need to change position"

Hopefully they are smart and sell Calabria while he still has some value like they did with the previously overrated primavera players like De Sciglio, Locatelli, Cutrone.

It's exactly what I said. :o

He said that Suzu can't play as TQ. He was clear with that.

it's just weird, knowing what he said about him before.

Berlusconi after hearing Giampaolo could change 4-3-1-2 to 4-3-3.

And both of them were better than Calabria, don't know how but Calabria was prefered ahead of them.

No wonder we havent sold any of suso or samu.. if the replacements were bought like correa and james they would feel fire under their asses and probably leave for playing time but alas

Stop right there.. a 17 million dry loan is stupid.. also cabellos was absolutey dog shit against liverpool. He is far from someone who would guarantee us a top 4 finish.

And let me guess...Borini or Suso playing there is a better option right?

Btw Ceballos was no worse than any other Arsenal player in the defeat to Liverpool and I'm sure that Maldini could've negotiated a reduction in the loan fee after signing Hernandez. Also, it's only British sources claiming he cost 17m whereas others put the figure closer to 10m (4m loan fee + 6m gross wages). Opportunity missed.

How is that comparable? That would make sense if all were right backs.

Locatelli is average and so is cutroje

Calma...

The most important thing is that we base our whole game round our campione Suso who will lead us like Diego did with Napoli. And on thr rw he can defend even less so its great

It's quite simple: Suso needs a good supporting cast.
CR7 had a GREAT supporting cast at Real Madrid
Messi always has the best midfield and SS/Wingers around him

That's how you get production out of your best player (pretty obvious I know).
Giampolo is not wrong to be impressed with Suso....he's slow but he has a lot of ability....it's pretty plain to see. Three coaches in a row have acknowledged it. They have all failed to capitalize on it because there's nothing we can offer on the left.

Who do we have? Bonaventura is my best answer to date although Leao looks interesting.
