isn't he sort of a fan favourite at spurs ?

i know the coach wants him sold, but he'd still cost 10m+

Yeah they don't have room for him anymore, but he's not bad. He's fairly composed on the ball and his passing is decent. Not an amazing player by any means but I'd still take him.

Considering he's still young he'd probably cost about 10-15M.

But we probably paid few millions signing bonus and few other millions agent fee (iirc Raiola got 8m for Ely). On top of that, he's going to earn 1.5m/yr so in the long run this deal could potentially cost us well more than 10m. Another :g: 's masterpiece :fp:

With Zapata injured, why are we selling Paletta? Who would that leave us with Ely-Vergara to back Romagnoli and Gomez? That's fuckin idiotic. And Atalanta will give us what for Paletta?...1.5 mil max.


Sell/Release Vergara, loan Ely and sign Caceres god damnit! He's FREE, experienced and versatile! Our Bosman game has been pathetic lately. WTF Galliani? N'Kolou, Banega, Feghouli were all free this summer and would have been upgrades on some of the fodder we have in those positions.
