Don't forget it was a pretty safe match to play. In fact i don't think the ref gave any yellow cards that game.

Playing Zapata over Romagnoli is worrying because he's clearly better than Zapata.

And look at how Zamparini ,or any other Serie A president tell their manager to not play a player that is about to be sold (E.g Dybala)

Youngsters can get burnt out if they play every week for a season

I remember micheal owen saying that playing lots of games when he was 20/21 may have been what caused his injury problems later on

We have 2 defenders playing their best football of the year, and stopping very potent attackers in Zapata and Alex.

You have a kid who has played nearly every minute he's been available, coming off a serious flu.

Give me the reason to risk the kid... It's doing dumb shit like playing him if he's not 100% that caused us to lose Thiago Silva when we we needed him most.

Benching Romagnoli because of an imminent transfer.....4 months before the transfer market open?

Miha is continuing with Alex-Zapata because it worked really well against Napoli & Torino. I don't think it will last long, but if there's one thing Miha likes to do, then it's to show that everybody is benchable(Captain, DeJong, Lopez etc), everybody will be given at least 2 chances(even Noce & Ely). Romagnoli seemed like an exception, until now.

It's strange how annoying Sassuolo is to not only us, but the other big clubs too. I always admired them when they were in the lower divisions, and now that they're in Serie A, it's really fun to see how they've become one of the best run clubs in the country. It's embarrassing that their owner is a die-hard Milan fan, yet does a better job running a football club than B and G for Milan. RIP.

If we can suppress Berardi/Sansone and move the ball past Magnanelli, it's an easy 3 points.
