Who won sporting director of the season? oh yeah... Monchi. What a surprise.

Yes, selling a now 150m player for 40m was savagely brilliant.

Nothing he did got them to where they got in CL. Nothing.

Mirabelli is showing a consistent strategy. They're doing precisely what they talked about doing a year ago. Unfazed by the results, and looking forward.

I just hope we still have some attraction for good players. Two stars will have enormous effect on this already strong squad.

Money attracts anyone if you offer them enough. Plus who wouldn't want to live the lavish lifestyle in Milan?

In my opinion the winger has absolute priority and should be the biggest signing. Midfield second and CF 3rd.

Yeah, he won the award for being a fraud. Watch and learn.

We sent Bacca away and signed two bums

That's my boi, playing hardball w those spanish fruitcakes.

They're gonna buy him, no way they dont. A team like that should feel blessed to have someone who can score that way want to stay w them, for near peanuts.

Damn right! Imagine he scored 19 goals this season for them and they ask for a DISCOUNT on an already modest fee... They can go to the devil. He will have other suitors.

Mirabelli: "Last year we counted a lot on several young players. Çalhanoglu had not played for months when he arrived, he was not at his top form. Conti will be our first purchase for next season."

CONTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Man, we missed him so incredibly bad. He is going to transform this team singlehandedly

I think you expect too much out of him. Don't get me wrong i hope he does well and improves us but I don't expect much after those 2 hard injuries.

A mgmt that plans ahead and executes.

why is musachio gonna leave and barely played for us this seasom (we bought him for 18 mil lol)

why rr when we already have antonelli as our boring weak lb

why is silva not working out for us and were talking about selling him 22 year old btw)

why biglia when we have exact copies of him in locatelli and montolivo..both who arent leaving anytime soon..position is now oversaturated af

why we spend 30 mil on kalinic..surely montella didnt force mirabelli..

..i can ask more questions but i wont

making good moves is actually more easy then ever so why are more then 50% his moves>>>bad moves

Yes to Immobile. Many here pissed on me for suggesting him last year and look at him this season. Lazio are nothing without him.

Patrick Cutrone is the first striker to score 10 goals in his first professional year in Serie A in 60 years [via @MilanTV]

And some reports were saying we're gonna use him in swap deal lmao.

Yes because a Bonucci - Romagnoli partnership is nothing
Hakan won't be the #10 for years to come
Conti doesn't have the potential to be the best RB

not to mention all the primavera players who made the leap

you actually believe this shit?

Believe what shit?

Regardless of all the other noise surrounding the new ownership, last summer they promised revolution, delivered and said this summer would be about adding a few key players. This year before the mercato he's reiterating that.

We have probably one of the best ball-playing defenses in the world and Hakan turned out good in the long run.
He made errors in agreeing to 3-at-the-back formation and signing a player who didn't play for half a season in Hakan which hurt us a lot during the season but in terms of laying foundations that wasn't bad.

4 hour meeting between FMR to lay out the transfer strategy.

The list has been compiled and now we make it happen.

This will be great. A mgmt that plans ahead and executes. This is definitel the start of something special, and I legit have no idea how folks fail to see it.

I agree. I have more trust in gattuso re new signings than say montella and allegri 2012/13...and i agree that we only need 3 solid signings albeit we can't fuck up

A strong experienced mid, a winger and a proper goalscoring striker

We have around 6 or 7 good enough starters right now imo, plus conti will return,

If it's only 3-4 players due to FFP restrictions I think we should try to keep Suso and Bona or else we'd face the same problems this season which is depth.

Hell we should even try to keep one of Bacca, Kalinic, or Silva to be the third choice behind Cutrone and the new Striker.

So we should at least look somewhat like this:

Strikers: New Striker, Cutrone, and old striker.
Wingers: New Winger, Hakan, Suso, and Borini.
Midfielders: New Mid, another new mid for depth, Bona, Biglia, Loca, and Kessie.
Fullbacks: Conti, RR, Calabria, and Abate.
Defenders: Romagnoli, Bonucci, Musacchio, and Zapata.
Keepers: Reina, + 2 new keepers for depth.

A few other depth signings would be welcomed as well.

the only foundation he laid is literally kessie
all the other stuff...hes gonna have to try it for the second time

Bonucci? Hakan? Biglia?

Love them or hate them they give the team an identity. He did fuck up with the striker position tho.

Biggest mistake was not buying a single winger in 2 transfer periods.

Remember, they backed Montella with their revolution. Mirabelli is unfortunately confirmed. So F&M either swim or sink together. Let's get behind them and hope the best for all arrives next season.

bonucci is not mirabellis work
hakan is ok tho..everyone knew him as a talented player for years though..its just that noone wanted to take a risk on him except us.

If we were a normal run club Mirabellend would've been sacked 2 months ago.
F&M are frauds. Inter frauds.

not crediting them because that's irrelevant

Hakan is perceived as our best player now - that's where we're at. He is known outside of Italy for being the guy that scored a consolation against Arsenal. I hope Hakan will improve further next season.

there is for sure an foundation

7 cl titles
biglia (few years tho>> we have to be fast)
bonucci (solid 10 years in him..very solid foundation..actually one of the most solid foundations possible)
cutrone
kessie

but my point was more that mireserablli is incompetent and not a "forward planning" manager

the best player is obviously Bonucci, Hakan has passed Suso as Milan's best attacker/mid
its safe to assume most players will improve given their age + finally being accustomed to playing in Italy

Diplomacy here I think. Why tell your players that they're going to displaced in the starting lineup. Sounds better to the current players this I guess...

I agree he should be gone, wasting ~80m on two strikers and failing to fill the biggest hole in attack is inexcusable

If you're worried about perceptions outside Italy, you really shouldn't be hoping for much satisfaction by following a Serie A team.
