If we do indeed sign Paredes, could Paredes and Biglia coexist in the same midfield?
Paredes to me seems like a much better player overall than Biglia btw. Has more energy about him, not saying I don’t like Biglia either. He has been really good lately imo.

Paqueta > Jack by start of next season (Jack a brilliant sub/rotation player)
Paredes > Biglia by February (Biglia still to be an important part of rotation)

Im much, much more for Barella but if the concept if firm 433 with regista then...

Yes and Jack can also play rw, lw, lm, rm, lcm... In this form Jack is very usefull, has experience.

Choosing between barella and paredes.
Now a days most of the teams play with a DM instead of a regista and if gatusso chooses to opt for that he should get barella who seems to be great option to cover all the midfield but then again if we talk about vice biglia then paredes is the obvious choice.
He is tricky, has a good passing range with vision and can shoot from distance as well plus he has experience in serie A so there's that.
I wouldn't mind any one of them tbh.
