Immobile is so incredibly meh....ppl are hyping him up like he's Suarez
Any decent enough top flight striker can score a lot in a well constructed team (which we aren't by the way).
Gilardino did it. Borriello did it. Huntelaar did it.
Sometimes I think it's ALWAYS better to get that striker with that little spark of magic in him even if it's a Balotelli......or hell even a fucking Jeremy Menez ......because with things as chaotic as they are now, it's always useful to have a forward that can make an opportunity or two for himself.... Heck even Dzeko can do this at times.....and this is one reason why I don't want Silva gone just yet. He has it for sure.
I don't agree with this. People underrate Immobile because of how he failed outside Italy, that's somewhat fair and I used to hate on him mad hard, but I change that stance. He's just a very specific player and if he doesn't fit the team he won't be good, he just doesn't have the ball control you're talking about to walk into any team and succeed. But he's been consistent in Italy, he knows how to score here and he has the characteristics to do well for Milan.
He's kind of a more polished Cutrone, he finds space and has explosive athleticism. For cutrone for example, we all talk about his box presence but people miss the darting 30-40 yard runs he makes on counter attacks, Immobile is deadly at that. And we have a lot of solid crossers on the team, Kalinic and silva both really disappointed me with their air presence this season considering their size. Immobile is the first true consistent serie a striker we've been linked with. Dzeko and Belotti would be solid buys too to me
