MILAN - David Beckham, on his arrival at Malpensa, was all smiles, and afterwars he said to be "excited". He was welcomed for Milan by the organization director of the Rossoneri's club Umberto Gandini and the marketing director Laura Masi.

Milan are making abit too much of a thing with this. Beckham looks very uncomfortable about the whole thing. Learnt a little Italian too.

This is the gayest move I have ever witnessed at Milan. Beckham is here for 2 and a half months just to prove his worth to England and we're letting him do that at our expense. We have to deal with his hollywood gossip and his ******** wife's superstar attitude and become a club of flashing cameras. Galliani I have nothing but hatred at you in this moment for this terrible move. He is a waste of space at Milan and I don't want to see him play over anybody we already have besides Emerson and he doesn't even play the same position. Basically, go screw yourself Becks, and go screw yourself Galliani. This is not Milan!!! This is Hollywood...

It's fair to let a player train with the team but Milan or Galliani turned this into a media circus

I lost the list.
maybe this will make enough cash to buy some players during summer... or buy Galliani a hair transplant, at least.

I think this has blown way out of proportions. The same thing with Ronaldinho, but this Becks-"mania" is just ridiculous.

But Galliani must be clapping his old hands together atm, this obviously is a dream come true for him.

Galliani is salivating because this is going to mean more money in the coffers even though Becks doesn't have much left in terms of footballing skills.

The poll results are rather disturbing.

What's more disturbing is that this is Milan we are talking about, and pulling PR-stunts like these really show a lapse in judgement when football is concerned. Truth be told, I'm not too eager to see what our team will look like come February.

We've compiled a list of ten phrases both social and vital to an Englishman on a soccer adventure in Italy. After all, what's the beautiful Italian language for if not to praise Fabio Capello, call for a ball, and ask for tea?

1) Scusa, Pirlo, tiro io questa punzione.

Excuse me, Pirlo, I'll take this free kick.

2) Mi dispiace bella, sono sposato. Ma Pato non è . . .

Sorry, beautiful, I'm married. But Pato isn't . . .

3) Sono sicuro che fai un caffe espresso molto buono, ma riesci a farmi un te?

I'm sure you make a very good espresso, but can you make me a spot of tea?

4) Per favore, posso restare qui al Milan?

Please can I stay here at Milan?

5) Signore Capello e' un grand'uomo, un uomo importante, un uomo intelligente. E anche bello.

Mr. Capello is a great man, an important man, an intelligent man. And good-looking, too.

6) E' strano, ma Pippo Inzaghi e' molto meglio di Alan Gordon.

It's strange, but Pippo Inzaghi is much better than Alan Gordon.

7) Dove' il negozio di Armani?

Where's the Armani store?

8) Aspetta. Veramente vi piaceva Ruud Gullit?

Hang on. You guys actually liked Ruud Gullit?

9) Non sono qui solo per vendere magliette. Non sono qui solo per vendere magliette. Non sono qui solo...

I'm not here just to sell jerseys. I'm not here just to sell jerseys. I'm not here just...

10) Dai, ragazzi - datemi il pallone!

Come on, guys - pass me the ball!
goal.com

LOL! That one could get used quite a bit.

Agreed.

Anyone who thinks we brought him over here because of his balling ability is mistaken.

Does anyone else think that this "Name-in-giant-golden-letters"-thing is really cheesy?

Well, we did the same thing with Ronaldo, and, well, we know how that turned out.
