Finally, a good rumour.

Torres would be a great third striker, as i guess Pippo'd be pushed further back upon his arrival, Amoroso being the 4th striker.

The lack of first team opportunity may annoy him, but i guess that should prove more a blessing than a hindrance in his case.

But even taking into account Torres' supposed admiration for Serie A, we'r never gonna table 34£m , or a figure even close to it.

I doubt if we'd even breach the 20£m mark. And Atleti aren't exactly selling for charity, so i think Torres'd go to Real, with Chelsea being the highest bidder.

Arsenal have just splurged 22m in the transfer market, moreover Wenger has got Reyes, Van Persie, Henry, with Theo Walcott joining the list.

I just don't get it.....Gila is untouchable, unless Milan are selling Sheva....

"Gila is untouchable" so are you saying Sheva is?
They'll all be used in a rotational system, which will be benefical for us.

AC Milan are regarded as favourites for Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres.

Atletico president Enrique Cerezo invited offers for the Spain international yesterday, which has sparked speculation linking the striker with some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

However, in Italy, Milan are regarded as strong favourites to land Torres thanks to their excellent relationship with Atletico, which has seen the likes of Jose Mari, Fabricio Coloccini and Demetrio Albertini move between the clubs.

Torres also privately favours a move to Italy, despite the interest of Premiership giants Chelsea and Manchester United.

Milan chiefs Adriano Galliani and Ariedo Braida have already begun plans about drawing up an offer for Atletico to consider, with Rui Costa and Pippo Inzaghi among names to be touted as possible makeweights in the bid.

If Torres comes to Milan i will be the happiest man on earth...
Well behind all roumurs theare is a little truth. we must think to find a backup for Sheva. Maybe torres will be the real one as longest i dont see notthing better than him in the world nowdays.
Definetely Torres will be the biggest signing after Rui.

Fernando Torres

He was on the first eleven 19 times... and scored 5 goals.......

Well... of those 5 goals... 2 where from the penalty spot....

more accurate....

he has played 1678 minutes... which means he has scored 1 goal every 336 minutes... or one goal per 3.73 matches..

but if we don't count the penalties... (only 3) he has scored 1 goal every 559 minutes.... or one goal per 6,22 matches....

AND REMEMBER... he is playing LA LIGA.... not Serie A......

but anyway... Inzaghi.....
32 years old... has played 464 minutes and scored 3 times.... a lot better than Torres anyway..... but.... you have to remember atletico's form this seasons..... CRAP....

very bad deal.... Rui Costa and Inzaghi are both better than Torres.... the only thing in favor for Torres is his age....considering that Rui and Pippo are both quite old... but in MY OPINION, he might be a good understudy for Sheva... he plays football.. i mean... he is not just a poacher....

mmmm, yes... but.... those guys never had a bad time....

sheva had a realy bad year on 2002.... and he is still with Milan... and he has said it several times.... he is not going to quit milan
