OUR STRENGTH

'Our strength has always been that of coming back from difficult moments and we'll do it again.' Massimo Oddo approaches Milan-Roma like that, for him it's like a derby: 'Win for the morale and the points.'
MILANELLO - The interview of the day, at Milanello, was given to Massimo Oddo. The defender, speaking to Milan Channel, came back on the charity friendly played in Pescara on Saturday night. Then he talked about the Rossoneri's moment ahead of Milan-Roma, and not only that. Here are the themes:
THE FRIENDLY IN PESCARA
"It was a great initiative, to which my association, A.M.O. (Association Massimo Oddo Onlus) and Fondazione Milan participated, giving us a big hand to organise the match. The aim of the evening was to reconstruct the 'Celestino V' cantine for the poor in L'Aquila, which was destroyed by the earthquake. Many champions of the past participated and it was a great destive occasion in every way.'
THE WORK DURING THE BREAK AND THE MATCH AGAINST ROMA
'Every training is useful to improve. Until now it's been a very intense week and a half which has given us the opportunity the prepare many things and work well on the pitch both athletically and on a technical-tactical level. Let's hope we get to our next match, on Sunday against Roma, in the right shape.'
'A victory on Sunday would be good for the morale, for the points and everything else... We can't hide behind the fact we are in a moment of difficulty. There are many champions in the team and many great players. I'm sure we'll manage to get out of this uneasy period and make ourselves up for a more rosey future.'
'Milan-Roma is like a derby? At Lazio I spent five very important years for me and my career. At the time playing against the Giallorossi was always a special occasion. It's certainly a different match for me now.'
THE OFFENSIVE PHASE AND THE FEW GOALS SCORED
'I don't think it's right to single out one specific blame. If the attack struggles to score goals it's because it isn't adequately supported by the midfield and the attack. Viceversa, at the same time, when the defence concedes a lot of goals it's never just the fault of the defenders. It's a problem of the team. Football isn't an individual individual sport. When things don't go well the blame has to be spread equally. Our strength has always been to get out of difficult moments and we will do it again.'
