An excellent two legs. Well done, Roma!! Apart from that costly blackout at Anfield, excellent stuff by them.

Got unlucky with a couple of decisions, but in the end the team that deserved it slightly more went through.

Liverpool's goal at Anfield that was offside. The two penalties today that weren't given, and the ludicrous 3 mins of added time.

Roma did get a generous penalty in the first leg.

But overall, EDF paid for the wrong approach, and Roma paid for lapses in concentration a week ago and today. I thought the block on SES's shot was hard to give as a penalty largely because no one even realized what had happened (even Roma players didn't protest), so I don't think that could have been given without VAR.

That 3 at the back cost them.(juan jesus) But its a good learning experience for EDF.. he might become among the top coaches in the near future.

2 stone wall penalties not given to roma, dzeko was onside when karius fouled him..and the handball.

roma can go out with their heads held high, EDF fucked up when he started at anfield with that ridiculous 3 man formation but IMO they should have qualified tonight.

well i prefer win 3:0/3:1 over 3:2/4:2
AM started with torres+griezman so they didnt have quality in attack, yet it was 1:1 (3:5 pks)
and 7uve are just chokers who believe they will win by sprinting in first 45 minutes

It's this same kind of attitude today towards players like Bacca and even Suso or Jack :head:....Then they go off to another team and ppl start wondering how come they're so good.....it's because some players fit a certain ROLE and only that role.....and within that role, they are actually quite good :mb:

We all loved SES... but he chose to leave Milan twice in one season for loan spells. His decision..Not Galliani's

Letting Davids leave for Juve was far worse :fp:
