Well, we had to sweat it out for awhile when Floyd Landis was accused of doping after the Tour de France. Must be something appealing about the drama of dragging out the results of the B sample.

I read it in the italian forum just minutes before I went to classes, and it's not convinient to read this before classes, I wasn't able to stop laughing. This is probably the best excuse for testing positive in an antidoping test.

Wait, they broke up? So the guy got a STD, tested positive in antidoping test, has to read in the pappers (better yet, the internet) about his STD, and he is no longer with the girl?

Oh the important part of the story: the b sample is due on Tuesday.

The lesson from all this? The most important ones a)Safe sex is important (you can get a positive in antidoping test for lack of protection). b)eww, you don't have sex with an infection. c) if you don't follow any of the above, then at least check what the hell are you using to take the infection away.

Pippo is intelligent + has always had his priorities right. Maybe he was 'playing' hard at times a long time ago (haven't seen paparazzi pics of him in a while) but he was always working harder. Which is why he became a success @ Juve + @ Milan, despite his rather limited set of skills. Borriello ? Dumb, ambition-free, bencher for life, even @ the crap clubs we loaned him to. And possibly spreading diseases.

In Italy, first drugs offences are usually punishable with a six to nine-month ban.

Peruzzi was banned for a year in '90 (with Verona) for failing a doping test. I think that was his first offense.
