Apart from management I don't see Kjaer as the best CB personally, doesn't mean that he is bad though, especially for a low cost transfer.

He is a short-term solution, as he's aging and gets injured once in a while + we have many games and we got rid of Musa, so Tomori is his replacement. Also, who said that Tomo or Kalulu can't play LCB?

Yes. Although the injury is a good point, he was slow back then as well.

I like Romagnoli when we bought him and looked forward to his growth as a player, but there haven't been much of a growth.

He is a really good short term solution and will be good for a few years more.

No one ruled it out, but they both are on the right side by default.
The last 10 years or so coaches do tend to keep their CB on their natural side, especially with styles like ours where turnover speed matters a lot.
There are less left footed CBs though, but still I?d think we would have looked for one if we wanted him for LCB first and foremost.

tomori is one big ?, just because he has speed it doesnt make him good defender

Kalulu was brought as RB mostly and Tomori instead of Musa, so I see no indication of trying to replace Kjaer. I think management still had hopes for Romagnoli, but I hope they are not blind now.

Btw, we have Caldara coming back, that's gonna be fun

Not really. Someone bring up average number of goals per minute conceded for Roma and musacchio. I haven't even checked these numbers lately but I'll go out on a limb and say musacchio is better.
