Guess Di Francesco wants to match us man for man. No free players, unless their wingbacks just drop deep and double up on Hakan/Suso, which is what will happen most likely. Calabria and Rodriguez then become the only free players on the pitch. I guess that's the gamble he's making. Too afraid of Suso and Hakan so he's doubling up on them and not worried about our fullbacks so he's letting them be free.
I'm expecting Biglia to drop really deep to maintain a free man at the back and give the defense passing options. A three man backline always has problems with a single attacker and Higuain is an expert at being a nuisance and he'll occupy all three i'm sure.
Weird gamble by Di Francesco. 433 would have been a safer bet.

Optimistic for the match somewhat
Roma has looked shaky in their first two games, hopefully Milan can cut out the mistakes made vs Napoli.
I'd say Roma playing 3 at the back is advantageous for Milan but considering the state of the wingers...

The guy has played at top top level for two seasons... musacchio hasn’t done enough to be picked ahead of caldara..
I am not buying this “he didn’t play in a 4man defence thing”... let the dude play and let him adapt to our play-style early on.

Nzonzi barely joined Roma and he is already in the starting XI. Karsdorp having hardly played coming back from injury in as well. Gattuso scared to start any of the new signings not named Higuain.
