I want to start watching Anime/Manga.

I've never watched it before. Can someone suggest what I should start with?

It's pretty long, but it's one of the best out. But if you want to start with shorter stuff try out Death Note(so good I watch all of it, about 30 eps, in over a day), gurren lagann also. Attack on Titan is great and still going on(the first episodes are epic). I don't watch anime that much right now, but from what I have seen recently this is what I would recommend

Like I said, I have no clue about different anime genres, that's why I need some guidance.

Claymore is a great series if you wiped out Raki. But I've heard he grows up a bit, still, annoying to have such a character as main. He might be worse than Shioon.

Slice of life - Silver Spoon, Space Brothers (Can be streamed on crunchyroll)

Fantasy - One Piece, Naruto, Bleach; pick either one that looks most interesting to you. I personally find Naruto to be the best. (Can be streamed on crunchyroll).

Mystery - Death Note, Monster (haven't watched yet, but is supposed to be really good), and of course the legendary Master Keaton. I dunno where these 3 are streamed, but Master Keaton or Death Note would be good first time things. Master Keaton is basically Sherlock Holmes based in Japan, :)

Edit: For fantasy, add Moribito to my list. It's more historical, but it's a really well done, classy show. You can watch it on crunchyroll too.

Edit 2: Slice of life - if you like music, try Kids on the Slope. If you also like action/fantasy, try Samurai Champloo :D

and just looked up Master Keaton, I thought the art was similar to Monster appears same mangaka :lol:

Watch FMA Brotherhood and Death Note. Start with the best.
