It should be Donadoni,Novellino(does well with what he has with Sampdoria) foregin coach should be Hitzfeld......maybe Del Bosque.
In my opinion, i think Donadoni is a good choice. He had been proved himself in Livorno. When Donadoni played in Milan, he is a flank and he can play both sides. So if he can come to Milan, maybe he will ask Galliani or some managers to buy some players that can play as a flank and very fast.

Maybe his tactics will use flanks and wings, so we also need a CF that strong and good at head.

How can you be so sure?
Like you I'm keen to see some big changes, but Van Basten has never managed a club before.

I reckon it's a HUGE risk for a team that cannot accept failure like Milan

I agree, Van Basten is no option. I'm for Ancelotti all the way. ;)

No way back at AC Milan for Ancelotti
tribalfootball.com - February 3, 2006

Billy Costacurta has joined Paolo Maldini in being linked with Carlo Ancelotti's job at AC Milan.

I don't think that would be a good idea.
They have no experience as coach and i doubt they have new ideas for the team.
What you think about Zeman??

Believe it or not there are far worse coaches than Carlo, (Sven)
Van Basten is a lottery, we have no idea how he's gonna work out, no track record. Of course, there is a chance of him being great, but it's a big chance we'd be taking.

It's starting to look more and more certain that Donadoni will be taking over. I for one prefer him to some of the other options. He's done a great job with Livorno and has good relationships with S&G.
The resignation was probably just a prelude to him joining us. I'm assuming now that as soon as Milan slips up again, Ancelotti's time will be over. Donadoni probably resigned because he was so likely to take over the Milan job.

Frank Rijkaard..
He made Barcelona to play an exciting football.
And he played in Milan when he was a player.
I think he'll accept if we make an offer.
He's the best option.

I dont see Rijkaard moving from Barca

I guess it'll be between Donadoni and VAn BAsten and because MVB will be with the Dutch team in june (the period where the big changes are made) i think they'll decide for Donadoni. I f Van Basten makes a great World Cup i dont see why he should leave the national team

Rijkaard just extended his contract and Barca are the best team in Europe right now. He's not going to drop all that and come over here.

Donadoni says goodbye to Livorno

Livorno, Italy (Sports Network) - Livorno head coach Roberto Donadoni resigned Tuesday after a year with the Serie A club.

The 42-year-old coach joined Livorno in January 2005, and helped bring the club out of the relegation zone during their first season back in the Serie A league.

This season, Donadoni has helped the team to a sixth place spot in league standings, with 38 points through 23 matches.

Carlo Mazzone will reportedly take over as the club's new coach.

Livorno travel to face Ascoli on Wednesday.

Neither Hiddink nor Rijkaard nor Van Basten are coming to Milan, that's for sure!

Hiddink is coaching two sides, not likely for Milan to accept that.

Rijkaard is coaching which is probably the best team in the world right now.

Van Basten will coach his national side through the World Cup.

And by the way... Roberto Donadoni and Zdenek Zeman ( :D ) are both out of contract

Maybe Van Basten wants to coach Milan after the WC!?
But if not,my first choice is Zeman.
Lecce played great football under him.

“You saw my rapport with Arrigo Sacchi in the 1990s – that is the same relationship I have with Carlo.”

Yes, we remember how 'good' Berslusconi's rapport with Sacchi was. What a liar! Look at Sacchi's achievements:
- 87/88 : Scudetto, 3rd round of UEFA Cup
- 88/89 : 3rd Place, Champions Cup Winner
- 89/90 : 2nd Place, Champions Cup Winner
- 90/91 : 2nd Place, Champions Cup 3rd Round

Sacchi created a Dream Team but despite all that, Berlusconi still sacked him (also added by the feud with MvBasten). So you think Berlusconi will think twice before letting Ancelotti go? Any fool can see that he's just trying to steer a leaking boat during a thunder storm to the nearest port and replace the boat captain.

All Berlusconi needs right now is an unsatisfactory comment from a prominent player (Sheva, Kaka or Maldini) that will serve as a final blow to Ancelotti's term in Milan.

As for MvB, IMO whether he will go to Milan depends on Dutch achivements during the WC. If he will guide them to the semis at least, I think he will stay. But any result below that will be enough ticket to make him stand at San Siro touchline next season with hands folded, sphinx-like concentration, repeatedly touching his chin and making countless mental notes.

Carlo replacement

Well

After this season, it will be time for Carlo to leave our beautiful club.
We've should have let him go after Instanbul.

The coach is unable to keep the solidness in the team.

He was never my favourite coach, but he and his staff made beautiful things happen, but it's time for a change.

Donnadoni is an option, but I root for Marco vB, hope he will be knocked out of the world cup early so the path to milan will be free.

We will wait and see.

Forza Milan !

Maybe Sacchi will come back to Milan again !!!!

I think sometimes, Sacchi's tactics and his idea is excellent. But i don't know if he can deal with the relationship between the players.

Sacchi cannot coach anymore, as i read before, he has heart problems, he must stay out of the field.

Well there is many coaches now.
Donadoni – DelNerri
And now we can get Trapatoni. :D
Plz any1 but that looser.

If we wait till summer I would wanna Hiddink or VanBasten.
Trappatoni comes third.

Add Rijkaard to that list and it would be perfect. But i think Hiddink would probably accept the England job and Rijkaard would probably stay at Barca for some time so that would mean we are left with Donadoni and Van Basten. I would prefer Van Basten but lets see :)

We need a confident manager 2 shut down G&B.
Maybe VanBasten is till young 4 that.
Lets let him have experience & we get him after a couple of years.

I think we need 2 go after Hiddink.
If not then Trappatoni is appealing.

I heard English players said they strictly want British manager to take over.
