He wasn't bad or anything, beat his man regularly and cleared the way for Calabria to cross.

Ya, imo he was the best attacker.

edit: that said, he's shown he's not capable of playing in the middle as he needs space and he lacks speed for a true winger so that's a clear bottleneck for the level he's going to reach in his career.

Very bad tonight

I have always said that Suso is looking good (not to me) because: 1. The Montella’s team is playing and basing the game in him and 2. We don’t have good players in attack.

The moment we sack Montella and buy a good winger Suso will lose his importance.

We got Calhanoglu, 20m and is already doing better than Zuzo, imagine if we got a big winger.

Hes a limited player... sick left foot and some dribbling skills... but he will never be the world beater some of you make him out to be.. problem is, he looks so full of himself he thinks hes too good ... if we get +30m offers I say cash in on him

Very good in 1st half, but got lost in the 2nd. Also, he/we should adapt our counter-attack strategy when he gets the ball. He doesn't have the speed to drag it, so maybe pass it right away or smth else?

try to play defend and counter attack is just suicide with this team, suso too slow to play like that, calabria cant defend to play like that, our left side is bad at everything
dont play like that anymore, just hold possession, keep the ball, play like 1st half

He was awful against Juve.

Suso is able to produce moments of brilliance or it is like playing with 10 men. He simply is not quick enough to be world class and a game changer on a consistent basis.

Unfortunately one of our better players and whilst that is the case we will not be able to challenge Juve for the scudetto.

Ya we still have many more things to do atm and many positions need to be upgraded. By the time we actually bench suso for a better player we will be there.

his form drop non stop makes us suffer the most, he lost all his golden touch and becomes way too predictable, i dont see any dangerous when he has the ball anymore

maybe it's not just his form.. almost every team double's or triple man marks our right flank these days. No attack from left isn't helping much either. Kessie upfront attacking through center is an option but kessie's abilities as ball playing mid are limited. We def need someone GOOD at left wing to give suso some space and balance out our passing lanes.

You guys are mistaking his form for the strict 1,2, and even 3 man marking he deals with. For Suso yo be effective despite being marked he’d need Calabria’s runs and a technical Kessie. Neither of which exist atm

He wasn't great today, but I think people are being over-dramatic. He opened Kessie a lot of times and delivered a couple of good crosses, one of which landed on Kalinic's head and should've been a goal, if he wasn't asleep...

Nonetheless, one of our main goals in the summer should be to get someone to compete/rotate with him for the spot. As I've said before, ideally, it should be a winger that can play on both sides and has speed... a Menez/Deulofeu type of player would be great.

^ this. he had an ok game. also the cross wasn't kalinic fault, albiol got slight touch ahead of him so his timing got off.

The turtle is my name for him.

Even Gattuso could out run him.

Simply not fast enough to be a top class player.

He might as well have been wearing a Torino shirt. He just kept giving it to their players. Just awful at the moment.

Damn he's so out of form.

One reason for that could also be Rino's tactics, he asks a lot from the wingers. Doesn't help either when our FB's are below average.

Ooor he's just clocked out knowing he'll leave come summer.

if he really wants to leave then he's quite stupid with his performances, no one would trigger a 40 million clause to a player that passes to the other team.

Hope he can at least string some better performances together so some team will want him.

I would rather us move on
