In good form albeit playing like shit. We only lost 5-0 to Atalanta while Toro suffered even worse. Let's hope that game rattled them hard and Milan come out with the W.

Edit: We have Bennacer so our midfield is going hopefully not going to be an issue unlike next weekend.

Do yellow card suspensions count for the cup too?

I was wondering the same. Bennacer should be allowed to play this game I believe, no?

I think suspensions carried to the Coppa earlier, but that's no longer the case?

I think it used to, since it happened a few seasons ago to us. That said, I can't find anything on it as to how they carry over - if at all. Or maybe it's only for red cards?

"Earlier" as in 15-20 years ago? Perhaps.
But it's not been the case in the last 10 years at least.
Coppa and the league are separate.

Are you thinking of Suso's suspension in Super Coppa?

Aha, that's the one. It's the Super Coppa it must carry over. Thanks!

I honestly don't understand the thought behind picking that formation. We have a very slim chance of winning this cup with Juventus still in it.

So the logical thing to do would be to rest the 'first team', to keep them fresh for the Herculean task that getting to 4th is. Yet most of the players fielded there would be considered our first team.

- we have no 4th CB to rest Romagnoli
- no other LB
- Bennacer won't play next league game anyway
- Kessie is a workhorse so at least use him for that
- We have no other RM

Piatek is a hail mary to raise his market value, like his last coppa match

Also, this would be Musacchio's first start in a while.
Piatek's and Rebic's first starts in 2 weeks.
Hakan's 2nd start in almost 3 weeks.
Conti, Samu and Kessie have been in an out of the lineup this season.
Begovic's first start

This game comes 4 days after the Brescia game and 5 days before the next league game. It shouldn't be too much to handle for a CB.

Looking forward to seeing this.
I would be surprised if Piatek doesn't score. He's far more useful next to a second-striker, in a dynamic, Suso-less team.

:star::star::proud:

Can’t believe we played stagnant football for the last 2-3 years. Apart from the results , it was ridiculously boring and painful to watch.

He still has quality obv and will do fine in Spain imo where he will get more space to exploit since he can’t fucking make any on his own

Corriere della Sera report that Milan will pay homage to Kobe Bryant with a video prior to Milan-Torino. No black armband to be worn

- We have a youth team.
- Kessie being a workhorse is one of the greatest exaggerations on this forum.

Do agree on Piatek, but i wasn't talking about him.

Would have liked to rest Theo but I think after the Atalanta game Rodriguez will never wear a Milan shirt again.

Expected lineup vs. Torino (4-4-2):
G. Donnarumma; Conti, Kjær, Romagnoli, Theo; Castillejo, Krunic, Bennacer, Bonaventura; Rebic, Piatek [Sky]

We're either going to score a lot and go for the 7-0 like Atalanta, or get run over in the midfield.
