Total shocking news. Guy was a damn solid player in the epl. I hear stuff about drug abuse etc but wont jump into conclusions..

given is irish, but was in tears during the minutes silence/applause because him and speed were really good team mates at newcastle.

That's a shock. I don't fully remember his time at Leeds, but my Dad told me about him, and that he was a good playet when he won the PL in 1990 with us.

Any1 else suspect foul play here? From the accounts I've heard I dont think he wanted to kill himself... hearing ppl like Shearer who was with him the day b4 planning the next holiday n stuff. It makes no sense.

I guess one can never be late to mourn someone of his stature. I was stunned to read the news. He had always looked so indestructible, handsome and so fit. It's a tragedy that he has died. No idea what was eating him up but he could've been one hell of a manager. Great man, great player. Class :star: :star: :star:
