Just a comment about Palermo goal:
Everytime I watch this video I remember Pippo. Palermo and Pippo are a lot alike as players, and I think the narrator put this very well when he says after this goal:
"Tantas veces te mataron, tantas veces te moriran... Sempre arriba! Sempre vuelve!"
It means something like "Many times they killed you... but you always return".
As Gaizka wrote in another post about Pippo, his game doesn't relly on pace or physical power, but inteligence, game reading and movement - to say it short, instinct. And as such, no matter how old he is, he will not lose his instinct and can continue scoring goals.
Altough Palermo is way more physical than Pippo, he got the same instinct, the same hability as finisher, and also the same "big game" reputation. One can call it star, others a blessing or even lucky. But the fact is, in the games and times where a lot of big players tremble with fear, choke and disappear from the game, players like Inzaghi and Palermo show what a champion is made of.
Pippo, just like Palermo, have been killed many times before. I listen "Pippo is finished" since 2005. At every injury, every sequence of quiet games and so on, there is always someone to kill him. And every single time he come back.
