At this point Abate is what he is. He does his thing but he will never be World Class or something. But there's no doubt to me his contract should be renewed.

He's very useful, a serious pro and a Milan dude.

Nowadays you need to spend 15M to have a player like him.

not WC but a solid player, his form doesn't fluctuate much and he is hard working, fast and quite capable defensively.

He might not be one of our better players but he sure isn't our weak spot.

he dropped Darmian to CB and moved DES to RM, that's why they kept their sides. If Conte wouldn't have switched to a 3 man it would have made more sense to play DES LB and Darmian rb

He's shit. His smell was hidden behind a great squad in a shit league. When he played with the big boys he was exposed for the mediocre coach he is.

i can't believe what im reading. do people not think this was a tactical masterclass by conte. bear in mind italy are dominating since 10th minute and are winning 2-0. croatia fans are truly confused if they think croatia should be drawing here.

Daniel Maldini.
El Shaarawy looked good and got involved in the game. Could've done better with his chances, also lost the ball a few times on the left wing. He does need to play closer to goal. I'll be looking forward to seeing him play under a good manager.

De Sciglio played really well, looked strong and confident.

Don't understand the Pelle bashing considering how amazing his link up play is + he basically won the penalty.

El Sha looked good, but he botched a good chance. Conte is a good coach, but extremely stubborn. Pelle and Parolo were absolutely useless. MDS and Darmian were really good, hope to see them in Milan together. Candreva was MOTM

He lost a lot of balls, ineffective hold up play, and extremely disappointing in the air.

He really wasn't that bad in those aspects. His holding up/link up play was very good.
