Modric doesn't play attacking midfielder for Real Madrid or Croatia. Hard to rate him in a position he hasn't played since who knows when.

Morata looked crap imo. Got out ran by 50 year old Barzagli and not sure what he was doing when he was through on gosl and waited until taking an awful left footed shot.

Lol @ all the Verratti bashing. He had a bad game, but end of the day, he's the only world class talent that Italy have other than their defence.

They should go for Ansh*tlotti after he fails again with Bayern.

It is actually well known in footballing circles that Xavi was the one using his Qatari influence to block the Verratti move to Barca earlier this summer.
