Hakan needs to step up big time. No need for the hate speech on him. He’s got problems, he needs to fix them. He’s not working for a non-profit organization to have all the time he needs. There are bare minimums and he’s not doing shit.

If what Gattuso is saying is accurate he's in this poor form because of his injured ankle. He for sure wasn't playing if our squad wasn't that thin due to injuries as it is right now. And Laxalt being in piss-poor form too doesn't help neither.

It's tough to rate our current players and coach at the moment. Under normal corcumstances they deserved every harsh critics on earth. But right now many of them play injured or not fully-fit (Hakan, Kessie, Abate, Cutrone, Higuain) because they are forced to do so due to the many injured ones (Calabria, Musa, Biglia, Bonaventura, Caldara, and smh Conti). And the ones left to rotate with are utter garbage players coming from the previews two managements (Borini, Montolivio, Bertolacci, Mauri).

Until the Juve-game we were 4th. After the Lazio-game we could be back there. I guess considering all the circumstances there is little to nothing to complain about if we somehow manage to stay in near reach of 4th place until january.

That's also why these days I'm not bitching too much about Gattuso. I think none could grab many more points than he did in the last two weeks given how we played 5 games in two weeks (basically 1 game all three days) with such a thin squad and still managed to win 3, draw 1 and only loose to Juve (who even under better circumstances no one would expect or even demand a win).

I'm thankful that we finally got to this international break. We need it.

So many of our players are hurt, and I think the players have worked so hard for Gattuso.

Higuain missing the penalty changed the game. He lost his mind after that. But I think the physical limitations of the players--i.e. injuries to so many players--is why they couldn't push more.

I'd like our chances if we were fully fit.

The only person set to recover after the break is Calabria according to Gattuso so essentially no one ha. And you lose Higuain to suspension.

Instead of having a week of rest and then start training with the others, now all these players who were in doubt for yesterday's game will have more pressure on their shaky health. Just imagine Cutrone worsening his condition for 2-3 week and with Higuain's at least 2 game ban, we will be watching lord Fabio leading the attack... wtf? Paolo? Leonardo? Anyone?

just because they join NT it doesnt mean they will play
also we dont really know what the problem is with some players - sometimes players need to rest some injured part sometimes you just have painful bruise what makes you feel bad (annoying thing) but it doesnt mean you have to rest (just be more careful about it).

Hakan’s ankle must have been injured since he joined Milan.

The club is struggling with fitness, and we rely on the biggest choke artist of the century to score in big games, so there isn’t much to take away from the Juventus match. The two clubs are sadly on different playing fields.

Gattuso has Milan positioned about where we should be right now. Juventus, Napoli, and Inter have much better squads and managers, Lazio just has some sort of consistency maybe that makes them a top 4 squad. I don’t think Gattuso is the long-term answer, but as we inch toward January, I think he has done about all we could have asked: Have the club in a position to challenge for 4th.

Milan needs A LOT of reinforcement in January to make that hope a reality, though. We are talking a midfielder (Paredes), forward (Ibra?), and likely a CB our or desperate necessity. I’d also give my left hand for an upgrade over Hakan, but I doubt that’s possible.

There were big parts of the Juve game where Hakan was playing LCM and we switched to a 4-3-3.

Kessie has looked sluggish recently, but it's clear because he's injured.

Laxalt has done worse, actually, as the season has went on. Samu needs to improve.
