3-5-2 with RR cb makes sense, i don't know how effective would it be.
Ancelotti once made a similar experiment, but it was Serginho and Paolo Maldini instead of TH and RR
This is what I was hopinh for right now as I thought it would be the perfect balance of havig 2 strikers but having a more stout central midfield rather than just havign 2 players there.
---------Leao/Rebic--------Ibra------------
----------------Paq/Hak/Jack--------------
-Theo-----Bennacer----Kessie----Samu/Saele
--------Romag-----Kjaer-----Musac-------
----------------Donnarumma--------------
For this formation would have been good to have RR still here and to keep Caldara. Having Caldara, Duarte, and Gabbia as backup would have been good. Laxalt can back up Theo, Samu and Saelemaekers can hold the right, Saelemaekers can even help on the left. It also lets Conti roam forward more if he's playing the right side. And now this opens us up to be able to start playing Paqueta again and it puts Hakan and Jack in more dangerous positions that i feel they're better suited for.
I don't know, I know it's not very popular but I feel this formation gives us the best of both worlds right now. 4-4-2 is close and def an improvement from before, but it's fragile right now and not 100% ideal for the players we have.
