Barry with a soft Spanish r(or French r for Scanian accent) and quick "e" at the end is the closest you'll get.

As for Forsh.......
yeah spanish and french makes it easier for an english speaker. what you're saying doesn't make sense.

Force-Barry?

Forsh-berj

or maybe even

Fosh-berj

Try saying Forshberg with a Scanian r...impossible.

I take the best from Scanian, Stockholmian and Blattian.

Chinese language makes it impossible to directly translate European sounds as they must use a Chinese character with similar sound to translate the name, hence if that sound doesn’t exist it won’t be translated.

His name in Chinese is actually 福 (fu) 斯 (s) 贝(bei) 利(li)

But usually they use the last two character to translate Berry/Barry/Pele so I figured it’s a similar sound in Swedish

You do? lol
Not even the Swedish speakers can agree on how it's pronounced .
It depends on the dialect. But you seem to be specifically after the pronunciation of the -rg part.
It's "rj" or "r-yee" if the former doesn't say much.

Fuck off.
Judging from your guys and this Youtube video I found, I can get the rough idea.

I was just confused why its not the "burg" sound translated, now I know.

Thanks once again.
