Ronaldo turns attention towards England

Brazil striker Ronaldo was a happy man after scoring the second goal to seal his team's 2-0 victory over Belgium and set up a World Cup quarter-final against England.

"It was great to see the whole stadium full of yellow," the striker said. "It was something marvellous.

"The Cup starts now, every match is going to be a final. Now we must think about England."

Ronaldo's late goal was his fifth in four matches in the tournament, making him the joint leading scorer with Germany's Miroslav Klose.

"Playing England is going to be like a great final. We're going to have to analyse their best points and we're going to have to wait up to the last minute (for a result) like today," he said.

Ronaldo said the pressure had been on the Brazilians to beat the Belgians, but that now they would be able to relax and play more flowing football.

"I think the match against England is going to be better because they play better football," he said. "We will be very evenly matched."

England has found their character under the coach Goran Eriksson. The combination between Beckham on the right and Sinclair on the left has doing well so far. The kuartet of Ferdinand, Mills, Cole and Campbell in defense are the real key for England. Nothing more to say about Brazil, with Rivaldo, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho IMO they still to be able to handle England for semifinal's spot.

You're biased scharatz.

I'll go for a fine 3-1 for the Brazilians, and only because RJ is Brazil's central defender. Otherwise, it would have been a 3-0. Scorers: Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Rivaldo - Owen.

That's history. This is another game and no way England, an overrated team, can beat Brazil. ;)

Again the referees manage to destroy the hole game...!!

Ronaldinho was SENT OFF in the 57th minute for a stupid foul wich in worst case should have been a yellow!!!!
