The thing is that whenever Robben's selfishness doesnt pan out, he has a team of worldclass players who creates lots of chances each game without depending on Robben. Menez is Milans strongest creative and chance-creating force, so that when he's being selfish and it doesnt pan out, unlike Robben's Bayern, chances will not be converted to goals and stupid and unnecessary point losses will occur.

That being said, this was not at all a problem vs. Napoli, and if he keeps playing like he did tonight, Milan will have a much better chance of qualifying for Europe next year, maybe even chl

I agree. We need him to take risks, to try solo moves. Right now hes probably our only player who can dismantle a defense, unless El Shaarawy finds some form.

It's not like 8 goals is not a result.

This forum is so frustrating, he's been the best signing in Serie A this season by a mile but you guys keep knocking him until now. Don't worry he won't score next game and all you little children will be bagging him again. You're all like a bunch of sheep sometimes, once one person starts hating you all follow suit.

agree, some people judge him through inconsistent. but until so far he is the best player of milan. score big match against inter, napoli...2 or 3 game he isnt played well, but due to his physical, he had some problen in his fitnest. but menez prove his skill, amazing speed and technical along with good finish.
he run whole match, track back, hard work, and score!
selfish? he trend to dribble so much but we need a type of player to make the different.
congratulation to galliani for this signing. after monty, menez is the best free transfer!

That goal was so good

Great pass from Monto under pressure. Inch perfect ball between the lines from Bonaventura. Amazing first touch and control from Menez. Clinical with the finish

Compared to the player he basically replaced (Balotelli), he's just a tremendous upgrade. Really happy with Menez.

And i just want to say menez boys for the win. Props to myself, congo, jammin and all the other menez lovers.
In saying that i agree he isnt perfect, but he is by far our best player when he is on form. He must try not to be too selfish, cause he is clearly capable of producing magic whenever required. Menez can be frustrating to watch at times, however, you cant deny the fact that he is extremely talented. Keep improving menez the menace. Molto menez.

The first chance he wasted, well of course he could have passed the ball to Montolivo, but first of all, Menez is the only player we got who is able to create that kind of chances, also as you can see at 0:44 when he decided to shoot, he couldn't see any pass available, and there was a clear path to the goal if the shoot was good enough.

He later made another mistake, but again, it was a chance created by himself alone. It's not like he screw the job of his team mates.

He is not even the best signing for us this season. Yesterday, Menez proved he can be more important for us if he stop being too egoist.

Our best signing this season for us is Diego Lopez because he has kept us in most of the games when we should have not been otherwise due to too many defense mental lapses.

Differentiate between hating and criticize him due his performance. Same thing it was with Balo, Pato.

Actually, the fact that Menez MADE that pass was his most impressive moment during that game. We all know he can meg fools and leave defenders frozen in place, but trusting his teammates showed a different side even when compared to his better games with us.

Who do you think will be Uncle Fester's Christmas gift this year? I vote Drake.

I really like that Menez - despite being smaller- is much more aggressive and physical.

A really great match, only thing that didn´t like was his back heel in front of our box, that was rally stupid but I think that shows how high his self-confidence is at the moment.

Of course no one is perfect, but Menez has definitely stepped up since arriving here in the summertime and is proving to PSG and Roma why it was wrong to let him go. He's already scored more goals with us in 4 months than he has with Roma or PSG in his first season. In Pippo's interview yesterday, he said Menez is the emblem of this Milan, grande :star:
