He has some skills

But he's a general loser. Chucker. Plays no D. Doesn't rebound. Doesn't pass. Doesn't really make his shots either

anyway, everyone knows, rudy gay trade was made to free up money long term to make better moves to ultimately make em better

conley is 25, Gasol just turned 28, they got years. Gay was making more than eveyrone and not producing.


in a capped sport, you have to do this sometime . They wouldn't get 'high talent' for gay cause of his contract >>>>> production.

Thats why bad contracts can be worst thing for your team health.


Heck- look at knicks, i think a healthy melo, healthy chandler + 1 other all star player is a solid challenging core. They got good roll players etc. But that amare contract is a killer, eats their cap and is borderline untradeable, atleast for next year+ so they are stuck. Atleast in gay's case, he's been healthy and someone would bail memphis out and gamble he can get better. Amare's knee is so F'd knicks wont find a taker

spurs-Warriors series died at game 4.

This series has been best from a nuetral's perspective so far.
