conti at RW. not too sure about that. He isn't technically adept to play that role. let's give it a try though I guess. People complaining about suso underperforming fail to realize that he is carrying an injury. We can't afford to replace him because borini is on bench. That's the issue. one off decent game vs napoli turn borini into Douglas costa.

Seeing how our wingers also play as fullbacks as Suso as well talked about. That means Conti will basically play as a wing-back, the same role he was amazing at Atalanta. Only difference is he'll have one less striker to support. And instead will have a fullback behind him to support him

I'm also not so sure about him as a RW, but given his characteristics it would be foolish not to try. Only then can we judge him.

Where is everyone getting this idea that Conti will play as a winger? Gattuso specifically said that Conti will play as a fullback and that some players need rest and he always complains that Calabria needs to be in optimum condition to play well. All signs pointing to Conti replacing Calabria today, not Suso.

He was the best attacking FB in Europe 2 seasons ago (8 goals/4 assists) playing virtually RM. Although he’s not the best dribbler, he’s one of the quickest players in the league. Given Suso’s dry run (1 goal/0 assists in 12 games) it’s worth a try.
