Locatelli & DeS are favorite to start over Berto & Antonini according to Sky. Niang from the start.

Hopefully Berto gets some minutes. There's half a season left and we need some options in the middle, we can't rely on Locatelli to not only make it injury free trough the season, but also be consistent in his performances.

Kucka hasn't trained today. Pasalic will start in his place against Cagliari.

Probable line-up:

Donnarumma; Abate, Paletta, Romagnoli, De Sciglio (Antonelli); Pasalic, Locatelli (Bertolacci), Bonaventura; Suso, Bacca, Niang;

That looks like a vert offensively minded 11, and i think thats what we need vs a side like Cagliari at San Siro

I'm glad we have a forward like Lapadula on the bench, he can make the difference in the last 10-15 minutes

Round 19: AC Milan vs Cagliari - Sunday 08/01/2017 - 18:00 CET

Bacca has to step up and score some goals. I am sure he will get service. If he doesn't score in this match then perma-bench him

Cagliari have a good attack but a bad defence. So we'll win 3-2.

#WhoScored:

Milan have won their last 11 home matches against Cagliari in all competitions.

Milan have been winning at both half time and full time in their last 6 home matches against Cagliari in all competitions.

Milan have scored at least 3 goals in 5 of their last 6 home matches against Cagliari in all competitions.

Milan are undefeated in their last 7 home matches (Serie A).

Cagliari have failed to win their last 5 away matches (Serie A).

#FourFourTwo:

Milan are unbeaten in their last 25 Serie A meetings with Cagliari (W19 D6): the Sardinians last win was back in October 1998.

Moreover, the Rossoneri have won each of their last 11 Serie A home matches against Cagliari.

Cagliari have conceded 42 goals so far: the last team to do worse over the first 18 Serie A matchdays was Ancona (43) in 1992/93.

The Sardinians have collected only one point over their last five away matches, conceding 13 times in these games.

Milan have lost only two points (vs Inter) from leading situations: no team have done better in Serie A this term.

Only Bologna and Fiorentina (8) have scored more goals than Milan (7) from outside the box so far - on the other side, Cagliari have conceded the most goals from outside (10) in the current Serie A.

Carlos Bacca has not scored in his last seven Serie A appearances - since his European debut with Brugge, he has never gone goalless for eight consecutive league games.

Want 3 goals from Bacca, 2 from Niang, 3 assists for Suso. Anything less - seppuku!

Match day and I'm doing night shift, absolutely shattered that I'll be missing this. Hopefully we get a win here, I really want Bacca to score and Suso to continue his form. I think we'll win this 1-0 with a Niang penalty.
