There was a point in the season where Gattuso wud play an injured Hakan bc lack of replacement... I dont care if Lupaq is 40% ready, if he can stand on 2 legs then play him!

Mbaka at LCM isnt going to do shit, he's like Ibra at Barca, he isnt mobile enough. He'll be at the top end and the game will be at our end and when he's arse arrives back down the game will have moved elsewhere.

But I like Savo's formation... good man!

That could actually work. Hakan is a mediocre player in Am, but he is utter shite on the wings.

The weak link is Crutone, who I feel doesn't really know what to do on the field when Piatek is on.

We don't have anyone in our squad who can play in the hole properly except Paqueta. Let's not force this formation.

Hakan is significantly limited if he plays anywhere other than left wing.

The prospect of seeing Caldara-Romagnoli live for the first time is hard to describe.

My preferred XI:

Donna
Calabria - Caldara - Romagnoli - Rodriguez
Kessie - Bakayoko - Calhanoglu
Suso - Piatek - Cutrone

Although "preferred" is almost the wrong word. Uncomfortable with Cutrone on the wing, but with Paqueta out and almost no faith in Castillejo we're left with few attacking options. I've become tired of saying it but maybe this is the game where Suso wakes up. We sure need it. I want Baka back as the cornerstone anyway. That's when we've looked strongest and least confused.

26 minutes together vs sampdoria..32 minutes together vs inter..6 minutes together vs juve ...that's the entirety so far

I'm not Gattuso's fan, but i imagine he tried the formation in training as well, and didn't seem impress if he didn't force it until now.
