I dont take kuja seriously bc he was probably still on his voyage of self discovery when football was calcio.

Wot abt you, Joy, does necro deem it so that one of the conditions to become a Mod here one needs to have little or no awareness of the sport?

Ibra made his name at inter, its where he expressed himself the most... at juve he was the "school boy" Moggi & Capello made sure of that.

Even Goodfella is telling you that inter made him into the force he is today.

Necro is a friend, a good person and an excellent referee.
I don?t want to get into baits between mods and forum members.

Capello showed him the VanBasten tapes at Juve when he joined. It made him an even better striker. At Inter he had a peak of many skills. Almost free to do what he wanted under Mancini...kind of ..Goodfellas point
What he is doing for us now is so extraordinary that I don?t know, which other striker has ever done this at this level and at his age.
That?s why for me, Milan is getting the best out of him.

I see your point, my only point is that I think Ibra was at the peak of his powers in his second season with us, and then for a couple at PSG but it was Baguette League.

I don't disagree with your opinion, my opinion was simply higher of him at Milan. Whether that's because he hadn't played for us at that point and I still detested him? We'll never know...

I think its more like "both Ibra and Messi tried that, which is why Pep got rid of Ibra" (using 'the silent treatment').

Except that one single UCL game against Inter which Messi bottled harder than most, Messis performance that year (and the following maybe 3-4 years) put him on Pele level of dominance. The way he carried Barcelona was ridiculous. And from a player that lived his whole life in the club. If that players wants to be the center of attention, questioning that is..

As for the discussion, Zlatan will obviously be remembered for his unique abilities. He is the undisputed king of the highlight reel, consistently doing almost inhuman things year after year. Its not only the goals, his playmaking might be even more spectacular. He would be famous for his passing alone if it wasnt for the crazy goals (they tend to be whats shown if you have both).

My guess is that in 20 years he will be the grumpy "know-it-all" fotball guys go to player. You know the type: "lmao, you kids and your overrated players.. you dont even know who Zlatan was".

1. Great assist by Rebic... trademark movement
2. second goal - Zlatan's sprint vs that fullback of theirs... you can't tell who's the 38 y.o. the lack of will from that guy tho... how do such ppl get to be professional players?

Havent thought about it before, but realized Zlatan and CR would probably have been an insanely effective matchup on the field. The thought has never crossed my mind before, because they seem to really disrespect each other outside the field.

And prior to Zlatan wearing 11, people on this forum always talked about 11 being cursed.

There is no curse to 9, just bad luck (Pato) or bad players (Destro, et al)
