Borri may never score as many goals as Gila but I'd take him any day over the juve ***. Borri is an ATTACKER. Not merely a goal scorer. He makes space for the whole attack and doesn't wait at the top of the box for the ball or only look to latch on to a through ball. One thing that I can complain about if I had to nitpick is that his decision making is a bit poor. I remember him in a situation with the keeper stranded and all he had to do was stick the ball to a wide open becks who would have drilled it no doubt. His decision making is worse than Pato's. A more experienced and aware striker like Ronaldo or even Inzaghi would have done that imho.

great game again Bori, he's steadily racing up the ranks of my favourite Milan players! I like players with attitude, and Bori has a great attitude, which is why he, Ambrosini and Nesta are my fav players at d mo, along with Ronaldino t.Silva and Abate

keep it up Boriello, playin great stuff

He is the most important player in our team just now if anything happens to him we are completely and utterly screwed with our new system, if you look at every position we have players who can come in and cover, there is no one who can play his role.

The fact that the best Italian forward is a battle between Gilardino, Pazzini, Di Natalie and Borriello shows how bad the forward situation is in Italy. I'm not an Italian, but hard not to notice this. As much as I like Borri, none of em can be even compared to old Italian strikers like Vierri/Pippo/Del Piero/Baggio etc. Same goes for striker quality in the league. This was a league in which the world's best strikers like Ronaldo/Batigol/Shevchenko/Zlatan etc used to play. Current top scorers can't hold a candle for em. Honest truth. Pato hopefully will grow and will be good enough to join the above names. The main reason y we should get someone like Torres or Dzeko in summer. Else it will be difficult for us to compete in Europe.

+1

You never know what the future will bring (balotelli could be best striker in world if he gets his head straight) but it's not a great moment for italian forwards

No mention of Cassano in that list?

Cassano I think is definitely more talented than Gilardino/Pazzini/Borri group, but is not good enough to be mentioned with the likes of Ronaldo/Batogol/Sheva category and hasn't done anythin significant in International arena or was consistant enough in the league except last 2 years to be mentioned along with legends like Piero/Totti/Baggio etc.

The only thing that makes people still have minor words about Borri aside that his bit injory prone is because he is 27 already, I bet if he is 21-23 all of you would be jeezing your pants for him :o :D

Given that a lot of people on here like to drone on about Milan's "class", how do we feel about a Milan player featuring in soft porn?

i for 1) absolutely love it. If i had my way milan players would all be a mixture of borriello/leonardo personality.... fights on the pitch, always smiling, joking, sambaing fucking off the pitch

Oh trust me he is good enough, he just doesn't care that much about glory and trophies and getting much success in football. He's the opposite of Cristiano Ronaldo when it comes to that. But when it comes to pure talent, he's definitely as good as Del Piero, Totti and Baggio. His character isn't of a top class footballer, but his ability is and the fact that he is that kind of rebel makes him even more special.

And we know why he hasn't done anything significant in the international arena: Marcelo fucking Lippi.

Borrigol got injured again. Knee. Doesn't look like a serious one, but he's really needed againt Merda and Man U. I am dreading injuries. We are picking couple of em every week now.
 even though it may be blessing in disguise as Pato can replace him in the center.
